    I like this idea, but the map in standalone is the same and just a bit bigger. So by now people would have memorized towns and cities.

    I think what you read was speculations that it will be using the Arma 3 engine, because before they announced standalone people were assuming that it would be. I don't have any evidence to present that Rocket said they would be using the Arma 3 engine. The engine looks pretty good to me (not BF3 good) but pretty decent and smoother. To each his own I guess.

    I suggest buying the standalone. Why? Scripters. But if you have the extra cash and you really want to play Arma2, Arma: OA, and DayZ then it is a pretty good deal.

  14. I like this idea but instead of the whole reverse humanity thing why not just get plus X amount for killing a bandit, let's say +50 or +100.

  18. 1.7.2.6 report with the latest ARMA patch (server had the same version) Server time: 8:15 pm - Indicators don't work if you switch them to "debug" mode in the DayZ UI. They work well in "default" setting. - Graphical glitches are gone, so far I have only been to Stary Sobor. - Saw a tent with stuff in it, cannot confirm if tents do save. - Bullets are saving properly, have not yet tried switch the 1911 mags to revolver mags.

    I would prefer a hotfix too, even if it just fixes the artifacts, tents, and vehicles. :thumbsup: The other stuff I can wait for.
