I noticed friendly encounters happen when one of the guy you meet doesn't have a weapon or both of you don't have weapons. I bet if 2 strangers meet armed with the best weapons they will instantly have a gun fight. Just my two cents on the topic.

So I was playing in a random server with Battle Eye: On, I proceeded to two raid two small cities during which an attack plane(don't know which model) appeared, attacking the city and eventually he crashed. On the next city he was there again and then he crashed again. After which I went to the NW airbase and still he found me so I hid in the forest afterwards. Is this a cheat? Can anyone enlighten me on the subject?

Been playing solo too. Quite interesting just observing other players run around towns. In a few hours of playing you can really get the stuff you need to survive such as :hatchet, matches, canteen, and a hunting knife. All the rest just follows. Just remember if you don't want to die quickly you must avoid any encounter with other players since there is no telling if they are up to no good or not.

My first murder and now I feel guilty

I always play as a survivor and only have 3 murders, 2 of which are from self defense. Now I just hide in the woods since I don't need to go in cities anymore. It feels really good when you kill a bandit who has scavenged a lot from other survivors. -
I keep losing my stuff every time I get the "no message received" and eventually losing connection with the host, currently playing on 1.7.2. Anybody else experiencing this?
