I found an amazing tip that makes the games 2x more playable, when you start open up task manager fins arma2oa.exe right click it and set priority above normal it helps out tremendously :D hope it helps you -

yea like everyone is saying is the servers same with me. I got amd phenom ii x4 3.0 ghz, hd 6850, 4 gb ram and on some server i run at 50-60 fps and some i run at 10-15 it sucks on how the game isnt very optimized :P -
So i am using dayzcommander and every time i try to update to 1.7.2.5 once it finishes it freezes and then closes itself. Idk what to do cause none of the update functions are working..

Major lag when zooming in with right mouse click

A Problem I'm having is when i use right click to zoom i go from about 40-50 fps to about 10-15 fps. This is very bad when i get into firefights cause i cant aim while it does this lol. -
So I've been playing dayz for a while now but i am just now running into this issue. Almost every other server if not more often that i join it will give me message "You have been kicked from the server." I have no idea what is going on and it is seriously getting annoying...

Yea thats the only message im getting, it might be for taking to long cause some of the servers i join take m like 15-20 min to join :/ lol -

Hey guys, my name is Austin, im 17, and i am a frequent DayZ player i am on every day. I am looking around to see if anyone wants to team up or someone already has a team that i can join, most likely one that uses skype or something. :) I am a pretty experienced Dayz/Arma 2 player and would love to get more involved with having a team that would like to take it seriously and have fun to. Alright so i got a decent system nothing special, when i first got the game it ran fine, but i went on vacation for a week and came back updated to new beta and my frame rates have dropped a lot... i play from 15-25 fps. I am just wondering what it should be and if there is anything i can do to fix my fps. System specs: Graphics: hd 6850 CPU: amd phenom ii x4 945 at 3.4 ghz ram: 4gb OS: windows 7 32 bit any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hi, i've been playing arma for a while now and this is the first time that i have had this issue. The problem is that my mouse when i move it around it makes my character look everywhere instead of making my character turn left and right like it should, and being able to aim correctly, and it was just working fine about 2 hours ago when i last played. I tried to hit default controls but it doesn't fix anything back to the way it was. It is getting very frustrating, if someone could possibly post pics of how their controls are set up so i could possibly set them up that way and see if it works would be greatly appreciated. Any help is awesome guys.
