Hi im fairly new to dayz. After learning how to play dayz fully I want to have a group of people i can trust and roam with. I know how to play, know all the controls and how to use the inventory. Only thing i dont know fully is the map. I have skype and i prefer anyone who is interested in teaming up does too!

You probably could i would say you can for sure because im not familiar with your graphics card but the game is still nice enough on the lowest settings

If you are stuck at loading screen try: 1. Downloading the 2 batteye files and copying them into the battleye folder in arma 2 oa 2. Patch arma 2 oa to patch 94700 After you've done these for steps try again and it should work. It worked for me and most people but some people still cant get it to load. To make sure you have the problem that im fixing heres the video of it plus a link to the patch in description:

My labtop is 6g ram i5 processor intel hd graphics card and it runs smooth i dont know how yours and mine compare however.. I downloaded demo aswell.. Watch this video too

Hi ive played dayz for multiple hours and it all was working fine but last time i played my characters head is stuck looking to his side. Im not in freelook mode. It's the same as hes looking forwards but instead hes looking to the side and it makes it super hard to control.. I nearly died XD Does anyone know how to fix it. No not bent over It's like im using freelook and looking to the left all the way but it acts as if im not freelooking. I cant change my keyboard im on a lab top but no keyboard can lock my head to the left because theres no controls to do that :(

Also ive restarted dayz multiple times and it didnt change anything

Hi! After playing this game for about 5-10 hours i figured out how to play properly. On the way i found someone who did not shoot me on sight and we talked on general chat. We played for awhile only to group up with another person then to be shot in the back of the head by the new person. I only talked with the guy on general chat so i cannot contact him :L. Within those hours of playing with him i found it to be 3x better than playing solo. I want to group up with a friendly or two that i can trust. If you are friendly, have a mic and are interested please tell me because i will group with you! :D My time: PDT Also I'm mainly friendly but if someone shoots at me i will not hesitate to hunt him down. I couldnt run Arma 2 OA when i bought it but i ran it as admin and it worked. try that
