You can do this by Steam. You and your brother must have a Steam account (In which I assume you have in order to play DayZ) and then you can add eachother from there. While in the menu, go to servers and click on the friends tab. You can see what server your brother is on.

How do you handcuff people? : You must have it in your hands and it'll give you a prompt. How long are they cuffed? : Permanent unless used with key How do they get out? : By shaking out of them. Can they walk around with cuffs? : Yes. How do you know they are trying to get out? : You'll notice them shaking. How long does it take to get outta cuffs? : About 10 seconds but depends on quality of them.

I voted other as well. I'd like to see some features being activated such as combat logging, the ability to read books, cooking items, more performance optimizations and such. -
They are meant to be read but it seems that is disabled for now.

I believe the focus of Chernarus is to be authentic. Having nuclear power plants where in reality is not available shouldn't be present in the game.

It means you are injured. Try recovering yourself by resting. You could also use a morphine to ease the pain. -

I'd like to see if you combat log, the chances of your items breaking would increase. If your items are broken from your previous attempt at combat logging, then it'll significantly affect your overall health or a chance of having your senses impaired (sight/hearing).

For some weird reason, whenever I look at something new in the Standalone. I feel like a complete tourist at the stunning displays in Chernarus :P

I believe killing on sight plays a role in DayZ in terms of survival and role-playing experiences. It makes the person feel whether to trust someone or not. Even though it might not be fair to some and fair to others, I feel it fills in that gap that represents the true apocalypse feel to the game as an extra challenge or even an immersion. In my own experience since I usually play solo, I try to hide myself away from other players which usually results in a higher chance of survival unless I happen to be fired upon. Overall, killing on sight should never be altered.

I found this useful from what Amberhelios as quoted below here so it might work: "This is usually an issue with NAT Translation. To get around this, create a shortcut to your ArmA2OA.exe(In this case; DayZ.exe), then right click on the shortcut > properties and add "-port=2350" to the end of the target line. Then just launch via that shortcut to play. The number doesn't really matter, just as long as it's different from the other computer which will use 2302, 2304, 2305 by default. This will change the client port (though it's not documented) and should allow you to connect to Internet servers." -
I had posted a topic that was about hunting and I suggested different types of bows such as recurve, compound and longbows should have different characteristics or can be crafted if you meet the material requirements. (You can find the topic here if you wish: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/118487-ideas-for-huntingnew-equipment-for-standalone/#entry1124906) I do agree this is a great idea to make as an alternative than an actual firearm. Just at this point they'll need to have the right physics for the arrow to actually drop over time depending how far back you pull on the bowstring. Here's what I'd like to see with bows. Pulling on the bowstring hard enough could create a possibility of breaking, depending on the quality of the string.Bows can be crafted into 3 different types; Recurve, compound or longbow which will reflect on different attributes.Arrows can be fletched in a way the mod will. (Requires feathers, hunting knife, arrow shafts, metal scrap)Arrows can also be dipped into something that could be contaminated; (a lake that has cholera or into a human corpse)Bows could have an scope attachment to increase accuracy; such as a PU Scope.Part of a crafting system, perhaps a bow could be improved by providing grips, quiver mounts as displayed here: (Click Here for image example)
