Have you tried going to your filter? I noticed on default it's set on Max Ping: 100 Make sure that's cleared.

1: Underground bases will be covered on another related topic. 2: Perhaps since gunpowder was the first chemical explosive and it was the only known as an explosive until around the 1800's since it contains a mixture of sulfur, charcoal, and potassium nitrates. Using bottles as an improvised explosive for fishing with wouldn't work out, perhaps pipes to use as a pipe bomb would be better since they are more dense and would drop deeper in any body of water but has a higher chance of it being defused if dropped in the water. I'm not sure if using gunpowder would contaminate the proteins of the fish but there are other alternatives to use it as fishing bait like canned goods (Corn kernels, sausage) Airsoft weaponry would be perfect, like BB guns to hunt for small game. That's something I'll be adding in shortly.Hunting for an amount of time really depends on how well they do the AI for the animals and how skilled you are at the knowledge of hunting and the techniques you use dependently so all that will depend on how long that'll take you to claim your animal game. Traps would be a good alternative to leave aside for an animal to be attracted while you have other things to do like wanting to go loot for the items you need for yourself; makes better time than waiting around for an animal.

Could be related to the server architecture that might be stress tested for; perhaps try joining a different server and see if it resolves the issue. Yellow Chain: Desync = Delays in actions(also known as rubberbanding) You may notice on interactive objects requiring networking(zombies, players, animals, anything requiring action)Sometimes aborting out of the server and coming back in may solve it temporarily. As above, make sure you are out of combat before aborting. ;) Red Chain: No latency between client and server information; possible for server relating things like restarts or the client's ISP. *One can analyze this by going to the player menu by clicking "P" by default, find your name and you can find your bandwidth and ping statistics.

Ammo needs to be less likely to find to create some type of trading economy and to add into the immersion of a zombie apocalypse; which may likely happen due to the people prior or during the events of that occurring, ammo would be heavily sought out before weapons would be. I hear DayZ Epoch has done a great way of this by adding more varieties of weapons and you'd find ammo for different weapons but not for the ones you exactly be needing. Example of the references which could include in different varieties of bullets that'd be great on a trade-based economy.

Try this. Go to; My Documents > DayZ Other Profiles > (Your username; make sure it opens in Notepad) Then, find these settings and change the values like so. sceneComplexity=300000; (Lower value, better performance but decreases objects/buildings at a distance)shadowZDistance=1;viewDistance=500;preferredObjectViewDistance=350;terrainGrid=25;

I wish DayZ prioritized more on survival aspects than firearms.

Head on over to this topic for some FPS gains: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/154330-possible-fps-enhancer/

Unless you're this guy anyway.

Have you checked your expansions in the ARMA 2 start page?

And it shall be predicted like so ;)

I think having your character die from a server hop would cause more harm than good. I think just having your character being added to the "time-out" list is plenty good. Once you leave, come back in half an hour max. No. The player should be required to have a choice on joining a new server. Forcing them to a previously joined server doesn't serve much of a purpose. That person may have left that server for any reason. The first idea is the best alternative to combat server hopping.

Perfect idea. It could be used as a gesture that's already in place (Such as wave and taunt.) This has been touched in one of my topics if you wanted a full view on gestures and other animations; http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/122657-improving-movements-additional-gesturesstandalonepics-included/#entry1171216

Doesn't work. I'd hold onto it if I were you when a future update comes in. For now it's purely cosmetic.

Berets; Probably, not too sure if they're still focusing on "authenticity" Face paint; great for camouflage whether it's for hunting or hiding from a zombie. Night vision; Perhaps a wider variety would be more appropriate: http://www.atn-night-vision-sales.com/images/ATNFP.gif Tagging System; No. It's fine as it is. This can be replaced with uniforms that you can identify your friends like "Everyone wears black cargo pants and a green shirt" Pistol Waist Holster; Most likely confirmed for later release. Duster Jacket; Possible. Helmet Easter Egg; What's the purpose? Watch with compass; Seems quite cheap to have a bundle like that. I'd rather keep them separated for that extra challenge. Wrist bands; Great for that proposed "tagging system" as an alternative. I expect everyone wearing "I <3 Boobies" in a future update ;)

Suggestion: Bolt Cutters and Bladder (W/Pictures)

Very interesting and I really liked the screenshots you provided. There should also be hydration backpacks, like a CamelBak. -
Definitely. I noticed a major difference. I avoided towns in the mod because of how big of an issue it was before.

Rocket has said that they'd be working on vehicles as soon as they smooth out the alpha(adding new sounds, fix bugs, add features) a bit more then after that, they'll focus onto that. What we know so far: Vehicles are being maintained in the codebase (for example, the network bubble is approaching them in a unique way). It is just they want to add the additional functionality that has been planned before putting them back into active use. They're going to completely redo vehicles so they are made by components that can be then swapped around. Perhaps some of the awesome work done with ArmA3 can be ported, but given how very different the two engines are I am not sure how much could be directly ported over.Quality is key for vehicles; this will be worked on in great detail.

This has happened from ARMA 2 as well. I know Rocket has noted something about it on Reddit but I'm not too sure.

Soon my fellow tree stump, soon..

I'll keep a hold of this for now; it just depends how well the AI will become attracted by an item like that.
