    Mosquitos biting you would be an interesting thing to add into the game. I foresee that most players will berate and become annoyed about how something so small could be so massive even though the concept is, is that in reality, mosquitoes do cause a big threat even in this modern age and day. Here is something I'd like to see. Mosquitoes may contaminate stagnant water whether in barrels, lakes, or any body of water that is not in motion. This would work by them setting their larvae into the lake and may contain malaria.Mosquitoes would be more common in areas that contains water(Not salt water).Mosquitoes may be prevented by wearing protective clothing which includes pants, long sleeve shirts, shoes and some type of mask.Using smoke from a torch would repel insects. Even cigarettes would play a partial role.Then again, mosquitoes don't really incline to stay in areas that have a cold climate. They thrive for warmer temperatures and more of a humid type of environment. They tend to hibernate around colder climates I believe. However, I'd love to see wild animals contain types of diseases that you can contract from if you happen if you happened to get scratched or bit by a rabid wolf or something like that.

    DayZ 2012 VS DayZ 2015 Mod

    Content wise, the current version is much better I'd say. There are a lot less bugs comparing to the "2012" version. What makes the "2012" version better for some people is just the newness of the whole open world survival based on zombies. The whole experience is a big enhancement comparing to other games when I first started. All my other games gathered dust while I was playing Arma 2 just for the DayZ Mod from 2012 to as of today. All my friends were hyped about it and we all had a blast despite the bugs in the previous versions, it didn't disappoint me at all! This game really throws out a lot of emotion towards you. There are moments where you fear from zombies which forces you to sneak around them, other times worrying whether the survivor is either going to give you a can of beans or a can of whoop ass your way resulting in death on either part of the conflict. Win or loss, you'll still feel the joy or disappointment in the end.

  7. I believe with new weapons added, reloading animations would remain the same. It seems to be categorized by the types of weapons (handguns, rifles, shotguns, etc) Edit: Would it be possible to craft snares and other traps for small animals like rabbits?

    Nice editing with the camera style. What threw me off a bit was the camera zooming in at the beginning with your view zooming in as well ( 0:04 ) I want to throw in a good idea. Perhaps with that style, you could make a movie similar to "Quarantine" but as a DayZ edition ;)

    Temperature Review I think temperature is perfect where it's at now especially with the release of the hotfix. I was playing on a server and I didn't really notice a change when I spawned in. It took some time before I begin to notice the effects of the new temperature function when I stumbled upon a friendly player who was on his way to Berezino. We started to venture out and my temperature begin to dwindle the more we remained still and moving would be our best bet. I was surprised at how much of an impact temperature really made and I love the new challenge. My thoughts on temperature and possible future improvements. Fire needs to restore temperature at a faster rate.Changes the label of "camping" into something more literal (creating fires for heat/laying in tents) instead of snipers surveying cities without any temperature effect. Which promotes more interaction between players and movement across the map.Infection should either increase(making you more thirsty) or decrease temperature(shivering more frequent)Possibility of adding a "shivering" sound effect associated with screen shake.Possibility of becoming hungry faster when you begin to shiver.Laying/crouching/standing close to nearby players would increase temperature very slowly. Should function like how infection spread to other players but temperature should gain very slowly at a close vicinity. This would not work if it's raining.(I WISH) Wind would be implemented: And I have a question about how temperature functions. Does certain areas become more colder than others? Especially areas that are on higher ground? Zombie Review My initial thought on the zombies when I first started playing 1.8.4.1 is that there are definitely a lot more of them which is something I always welcome. More the better. But anyways, the zombies definitely have an increase in either vision or hearing, one of the two they can still somehow sense me when I am hiding against a building that is surrounded by a fence and managed to agro upon me. They were able to see me easier but that's fine; It makes them less predictable when they will strike while they are coming at a far distance anyways. All and all, zombies are fine as is. No complaints from anyone, no changes :)

    DayZ Mod 1.8.4

    What I usually do is go to the Remote tab on the multiplayer menu and fill in the server info so it'll always show up. Just like US 434 :)

    Tested out the new version and the only thing I can complain about is the really far range for the hatchet swing. I was at one end of a tool shed and managed to attack zombies that were a few inches from the front door. It's not much of a big deal but it's quite noticeable when killing these zombies with a hatchet is a lot easier from a real far range. Was this intended? Edit: The temperature didn't fluctuate when I was outside while it was raining and on the coastline. It remained at 42.

    I'd recommend downloading Arma 2: DayZ Mod on Steam if you haven't already and then after that, right click it and go to Betas on the tab then on the drop down menu go to 1.8.4 Might have to verify the cache if the problem still persists

    I wouldn't be too concerned. I'm confident a hotfix will come and tweak with temperature being more proper but I'm glad to see the temperature actually functioning.

    Not sure if this was discussed before but would it be possible if you were to have the rights to push out the release branches for the mod through Steam instead of others like Matt, Eugen and Hicks? It just seems like a big obstacle of having a ready version of a mod to be released just to be waited for a period of time along with the core dedication you guys put into working the mod anyways which is always appreciated :)
