Definitely. All I see out of the mod are only good changes. Nothing bad has reflected onto any update. I also like how all feedback is taken to consideration. It's not common to see that when it comes to people contributing to DayZ Mod which I consider is quite a large project that's still in active works.

Currently I'm still playing the mod since it offers more for now. Standalone is good to have aside since it's at a cheap base price and all the good features will eventually come.

Hopefully the axe doesn't run out of ammo ;)

Don't fret now :) We all bought DayZ as an alpha and been warned twice for it. I'll save that for another topic though.

I understand. DayZ isn't for everyone and we all appreciate where you're coming from. In all due time, DayZ should be a lot better in the future. There's always an opportunity to come back :)

Not until it says you are hungry as a text indicator. In the mod you could.

A bambi is referred as a fawn (baby deer) which represents as someone who is a freshly made into Chernarus.

Will there be a possibility of adding in more attachments? (I.E; flashlights, laser sights)

If it wasn't for Arma 2 supporting DayZ Mod, then there wouldn't be DayZ retail. Where it's standing now, I don't think mod support should be implemented in DayZ retail though. It's fine as it is.

Mostly depends on your system specs. It's been reported that DayZ retail had far more performance gains than the mod for most.
