It's quite unfair to look at the alpha as if it was a fully released game. There are a lot of things that are missing and I predict that there will be ways to eliminate some forms of killing on sight to have it happen less commonly. It's one of the pillars to DayZ.

This was seen in one of the earlier footage of DayZ.. Don't know what happened to that but I do wish it was back again (Go to 2:16 to see it) -

I thought I was the only one who encountered that and this is why I like playing on hardcore servers. It's more enjoyable to meet others instead of meeting a bullet to the face.

I'd like to point out that killing on sight isn't a problem but I do agree that there needs to be more ways to avoid the acts of killing others even though we do have handcuffs, ropes(soon) and burlap sacks to our avail. Tasers are good but I'd like to see it more in-depth such as in example; If you drink a lot of sodas which contains a lot of caffeine and sugar combined, this would both create an reaction which would affect your heart to the point that it could pose fatal results. I'd also like to see some type of sedative like using a tranquilizer(or sleeping pills you could put in drinks) on a survivor that's becoming a threat to put them at rest for some time before awakening again which gives you enough time to get away.

I think the sizes for items should be changed since some of them don't make much sense.. Storage items are fine though.

I'd like to be able to transfer through various frequencies on a radio and happen to come upon some type of communication in either English or a Russian language that's distorted by static. I could only see this apply when you're wielding some type of rifle. This is something I'd only see in shooter games (Battlefield, Call of Duty for example) since you're always equipped with some form of weapon right when you spawn into a match.

It seems that some players have reported since the patch had happened, control schemes have changed. Try changing them accordingly and see if this will work. If that doesn't work, perhaps you could apply it as a hotkey function. -
Did you play on the same server where your previous character prior to the wipe was on?

I don't see why everyone's giving this person such a hard time when Wasted is just being honest. Everyone has their different views and things that appeal to them just like how we either like playing during the day or during the night. Might bother some of you for someone to have a different view but in the end, it comes to where we understand that we're not all the same.

The point of playing DayZ at the alpha stage is to supply feedback to issues such as this one. That's where the bug report system can come to play in which you can find here: http://feedback.dayzgame.com/my_view_page.php Where new patches come in, new bugs may appear as well. It's a common issue with game developing.

Are there any types of errors being displayed when you try to click "Play" or "Change Server"?

This does already happen when you play DayZ retail. Not to an extent where the liquid items are leaking in which I think is a good idea but at the same time, the condition of it being "ruined" is just as good if you're unable to use the ruined items anyway.
