Makes me concerned about the development for the mod if it has ceased with the lack of information.
-
Or that it's possibly an issue relating to the network bubble; players around the proximity of the bubble could probably cause the issue of hearing others even though the distance is greater than it actually is. This also relates to things such as hearing sodas being opened, drinking sound effects and such.

Try this: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/154330-possible-fps-enhancer/ Major client/server optimizations are currently being worked on most likely for the support of the increase of players and zombies alike. Rocket "Significant changes in testing on internal version today. Major graphics optimization for clients in testing, major server optimization also" Rocket "Engine optimization, based on feedback from hardware manufacturers on their assessment of our usage of their hardware"

I'm sure when they'll add in vehicles, additional zombies and loot respawning, it's going to feel like entirely a whole new game. Now I wonder if the experimental branch has any zombies on it?

In my opinion, if you're going for a friendly approach, take the pants off. "Nobody wears them in Elektro"

Definitely a lot better to defend yourself when you're in a car chase with the ability to shoot out of cars. I couldn't agree more.
-
Crossbows and bows and arrows are confirmed, they'll most likely come in soon as I can depict from their additional weekly content. Just not sure when exactly they'll be coming in.

I believe this could be a possible overload on the network bubble from what I can see from your gatherings here.

Dynamic objects separated into a cacheable part of map.

This is a great approach to base building. I'd like to see with trees and bushes being cut down, we could be able to gather resources such as wood that we could use to craft melee weaponry or an object that requires wood for building objects, leaves that could have the potential to have herbs for medicinal or food uses and berries as well. -
Same here, this has happened in the mod as well. What's worse is that when it's foggy for your view and for others, it's not.
-
I really hope that it could be fixed :P How can you say "no" to this?

The ruined food and water supply after beeing shot punishes the "victim"

This equates to a single bullet damaging/ruining all the contents in whatever article of clothing has been hit. I believe this system is still in progress. -
Both of these is what I'd like to see in the future of DayZ. I believe it'd expand a whole new look on survivalism instead of killing others for necessities.
-
That's a good idea, I'd also like to see what Arma 2 have done where the lips were able to move when the person's talking; that's something I really liked because it makes you know who's speaking at the moment. It's unfortunate that didn't make an appearance in the Standalone(Maybe later on, not too sure)

Pending Changelog: Experimental branch: 0.34.XXXXX

I miss the old magnum sounds, they were great before the change. Now they sound almost identical to the FNX. -
I don't think that type of technology will exist for quite awhile, perhaps you could be our next inventor on a device that'd work like that ;)

Love this game but character exhausted all the time?

Running Simulator 2014 instead? ;) -

I think the breathing after running a short distance is quite distracting, especially on servers that enforce first person. I would like it to vary on the condition of your character (Weak from starvation, sick from an illness/disease, physically wounded) .. Along with that, it should be dependent on how much all the items you carry should weigh.. Really wish these were taken into consideration. -
I believe a more in-depth medical system was confirmed prior to the release and it's uncertain if it'll be available in this stage. We'll see. Other bones being broken other than legs would be great!

I see "PvP" more as a pillar to DayZ since it's offered in the game, players are chosen to be able to kill innocent people as an order to obtain gear easily but is frowned upon as a consequence. At the alpha stage with the lack of factors(weather, lack of zombies, easily obtained loot), people will most likely resort to PvP in means of entertainment, especially when the mod was a big contributor. Overall, banditry should never be an issue since it's offered by choice, not forced upon anyone to be a murderer.

I know a couple games that have already incorporated this and it's great to see an image that'll represent how much you currently have left, instead of a number with the image remaining the same no matter what.
-
Along with these zombies eating corpses.. I remember playing Resident Evil when I was younger and those sounds of them crunching on meat is terrifying :)
-
Definitely an interesting feature that I can't wait to see, especially for first person servers.
-
I want people to provide better feedback than sarcastism and putting down others. Edit: Changed sarcastic to sarcasm. :)
-
I both voted for yes.. What I'd like to see as a somewhat rare item to find on a zombie's corpse is some notes that you can read that would provide a back story (Could be anything like a love letter from a loved one, grocery list, or even hidden loot on the map depending on the server)
