So as the most recent hack that is plaguing this mod allows hackers to spoof IP's and GUID's of other players in the server. Making it appear in the logs another player has hacked via scripts and not them, how exactly can you prove it was the OP?

Some admins seem to not realise that unless you have 100% proof you shouldn't issue a ban. Yes hackers are destroying the game, I myself have had a rant about these on the forums. But with the recent hacks allowing script kiddies to spoof IP's and GUID'S of other players, you could be banning innocent players.

Accused our admin! Jigsaw did not ghost kill Joe, Jigsaw in his whole DayZ time has played on uk25 and no other server. He logged onto the server after restart before Joe, is he ment to stay in the same place until Joe logged back on? We weren't in the wrong, you were. Which has been shown and proved. You are incredibly nieve if you honestly think only a small amount of hackers are online on DayZ, our server alone yesterday was hit around 20 times due to the recent release of the bypass that was made public yesterday. Don't act like we are also nieve to not be aware of what is happening!! Even one of your own DayZ Admin team joined the hacking the other day and went public about it,just to show how easy it is, which im sure nearly all the community saw. Unless the game goes standalone this is not going away, obviously hackers are present on every game and always will be. But this game there at extreme levels due to the nature of the mod and the engine it has been built on. I am aware that there are other aspects of the game they need to work on, but maybe they should apply more time to the matter of resolving this than giving us fucking bear traps. There wont be a game in 2 months otherwise...Fact!!

Quality video, well quality editing..Looks like you have taken your time chopping that and speaking over the top so we can not hear what you are saying in game. 1. Nearly all servers have flood control, when to many people try join to fast it locks for a few seconds 2. As DayZ is in Alpha stage, as it says bugs and frequent restarts may occur 3. At no point did you get a message saying you were kicked, when you time out it does not put you back to the lobby 4. As Faz stated, he was in direct communication with a Dev regarding the server not recording GUID's..The dayz ADMIN instructed him to restart the server. Which inturn Faz and the DayZ admin can prove. Finally..Dont speak over a video when you sound like a deformed member of SouthPark To me, this video proves nothing. Apart from you been pissed at been banned from the server for hopping to gain position and stop deleting comments from Youtube unless you have something to hide

@ Newb - How is a log worth nothing? It is a direct feed of information collected by the server of everything that takes place on the server This un-modified data can in turn be looked at by the dev's to determain exactly what has happened on the server in a give period. So you basically have a video of you server hoping and having problems loading into the server and timing out? Well if you pay attention to the forums around 300.000 people also have issues with loading and timing out. As Faz was in direct communication with a dev at the time of the restart regarding GUID's not verifying and a restart was recommended by the dev (which can be seen by the dev logs), the only thing I see an issue in this whole topic is the original poster admiting server hoping to gain position.

Unless you can get the logs of the player spawning the tws you can't prove he's a hacker. There are so many people hacking now he could of quite easily of picked it up from a dead hacker
