Hi, As title I am losing a tiny bit of blood (just 3 blood every couple of seconds) I have no bleeding graphically and there is no white cross in my blood symbol. Could it be caused by me bleeding - bandaging myself and at the same time as I finish bandaging I get whacked by another Z? Strangley when I log off but stay in lobby then reconnect my blood amount goes back to where it was before I started bleeding again. Is this working as intended - if so how do I stop it? bandaging again doesn't stop it. If its not working how it should then mods can you move this please to bugs? thanks

Just posting my thanks to rocket and the team for the continuing work. Of course there are bugs of course I get sh**ty when I lose stuff cos a bug. But like 10 secs later I dive back in. Thanks for making a veteren gamer (in terms of age not ability!) happy in finding a game I have been looking for for a decade. 1.7.2.3 is working smooth for me. keep on throwing out fixes - i am happy to alpha test and lose things - because this is great as it is (i know others might have connection probs etc) and can only get better.

Okay I searched water pump and "how to use a water pump?" with no joy. So how exactly do I use water pumps? I have an empty canteen. But no matter where I hover my pointer or scroll my mouse wheel I get no option to fill canteen etc. Does it require parts to work? Or is it like Wire and the cursor is very difficult to highlight? Cheers

First time I rolled on a moonlight night time server I accidently did this saw a prone figure - in my noobness I saw no movement and thought ahh dead guy. Walked over and saw option to "open alice pack" so I did, hey presto an AKM with clips - i proceeded to take. Then the dude moved crawling away from me - I was like WTF!?!? - best to be safe so I shot him with his weapon several times.

Guys if you use the six launcher and filter for "1.7.2.1" you will see a list of servers running the hotfix test - to allieviate these 'loading' problems - it was a server side problem with client - server protocol I believe. Like you all I could not get past the loading screen - until I downloaded and installed the hotfix into my DayZ files. I now connect to 1.7.2.1 servers only. despite having a much higher ping to thse servers I am having much better gaming experience (even over 1.7.1.5) See the thread in the announcements section of the thread. Also on the plus side the more people that log on to the hotfix servers the more chance there is that this test hotfix will go public. SE 3 is the actual dev's test server for this hotfix but like I say there are a dozen at least running it.

I have hopped across a few servers running the hotfix (not to avoid death!!! just to see how gear transferred etc .) I am really pleased with performance and other than one location wrong due to saving on the DB (??) my character has all gear saved and works properly. I have noticed a big reduction in lag and increase in FPS despite pinging much higher to these servers.

looking at servers via sixlauncher there are only 12 servers running this hotfix - as far as I am aware its not been released for publicly for servers to update? someone more official could give you a more official answer :)

Logged on to this test server for the second time 5 mins ago - I reappeared in a totally different location to where I logged off. Weirdly though I kept all the loot I had round AFTER leaving the location I was in when I logged back in (ie I went to a supermarket, looted, appartments looted, hospital looted etc etc. I log back in and I am in the supermarket again but kept all the stuff I had looted after being their for the first time) I suppose this is an improvement on logging in and being in the same place but having no gear :D

Just been on - connected from NZ so expected plenty of lag - loading screen : took less than a minute. in game - much much less lag than I normally experience
