Are the AS50 and m107 going to be in the standalone?
Mr-Zer0 replied to Timmie3054's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I hope not, it kind of destroys the feeling of 'post-apocalyptic survival' when you run around with a giant rifle, acting as if this ARMA II. -
Back out as in disconnecting?
-
I was simply stating and simply asking. Everyone always misinterpret these things.
-
Again, more negative posts even though I was just simply saying how annoyed about how it would take me 300 blood bags or 44 hours in-game without losing humanity.
-
Wow, all these negative posts really shows how much of a dick the community is...
-
Actually, I have been playing for 4 months now, and all kills I have made are from self-defence. They all counted as murders due to the broken bandit system.

I ran up to some guy with a FN FAL while I was unarmed and a fresh spawn. He insulted me and shot me in the face.
-
How much Humanity do you need to get it?
-
So, my friend and I try to meet up after we glitch spawned. We start running towards each other and I stop at Cap Golova's Lighthouse, I aim through my L85A2 AWS's thermal sight and notice an unarmed player running from zombies in Prigo, so I tell my friend I'm going to head there and we end up bumping into each other. We look for the guy and sure enough, we found him being mutilated by zombies, so we kill off the zombies, heal him up, and give him a good kick in the right direction by giving him a Winchester with no ammo and some medical supplies. We run off into the forest, and we decided to retire for the night. You're welcome, Cody.

Here's all the different playstyles and descriptions of them, these are different pieces you'd be combining into a single playstyle. Interactions with Players: Friendly: Being a friendly player is the most riskiest thing to do, due to the fact that 90% of players kill/shoot on sight, you'd have a hard time finding other friends. IF you encounter another friendly player and decide to team up with them, make sure you pay attention to him, and make sure he's trustworthy enough. Neutral: Being a Neutral Player is my own preferred choice, you'd mainly stay away from other players, and try to avoid encounters with other unknown survivors. Only shoot at unknown survivors when it's necessary (If they shoot at you, or begin to follow you.) Neutral Players should always be paired with a good friend they know in real life, or from some other source. Hostile/Bandit: Being a Hostile/Bandit player is what countless players go for, killing players for fun, killing players for their items, or if you're confident enough, rob a player without killing him/her. The Bandit would stick to himself or with a party of other friends that would be bandits, and try to hunt and kill other survivors, most of the time they like to seek the thrill of going to highly populated areas and hunting for players there. Roles and Combat Roles (If you are in a team): Rifleman: The Rifleman is the main infantry of your team, they primarily use Assault Rifles and are considered one of the most important individuals in your group. They are also very adaptable to almost any situation. (Zer0's Preferred Loadout: L85A2 AWS, G17, and a Soldier Outfit) Marksman: The Marksman would be considered the Sniper of the team, they are adept in long range combat, and primarily use Sniper Rifles and provide reconnaissance, scoping out areas and pointing out threats or interests. They are a menace in the battlefield. (Zer0's Preferred Loadout: SVD Camo, M9SD, and a Ghillie Suit) Medic: Medics are considered to be important, they sacrifice most of their inventory by carrying loads of Medical Supplies. The team however, should carry a very small amount of medical supplies themselves. Medics provide medical aid in the battlefield, and they must be quick and level-headed if they are to effectively help the team. (Zer0's Preferred Loadout: MP5A5, M1911, and Civilian Clothing) Grenadier: Grenadiers specialize with explosives, and are rather risky. They mainly carry firearms equipped with Grenade Launchers, Grenades, Smoke Grenades, and a Rocket Launcher. A team's grenadier must be experienced and must ensure that none of his/her explosives harm the team. They are effective at bombarding enemies in cover with their explosives as well as taking out vehicles. (Zer0's Preferred Loadout: M4A1 Holo, Revolver, M136 Rocket Launcher, and a Camo Suit) Support Gunner: A support gunner helps provide suppressing fire, they inspire fear into the enemy, making them run for cover or change their cover, they prefer to use Light Machine Guns. They carry loads of ammo to provide support to the team. (Zer0's Preferred Loadout: Mk 48 Mod 0, PDW, and a Camo Outfit.) Pointman: A Pointman specializes in CQC/CQB, they prefer to use Shotguns with Pellet Shells or Submachine Guns, they are most effective indoors. (Zer0's Preferred Loadout: Bizon PP-19 SD, Makarov PM, and a Camo Outfit) Engineer: The Engineer helps provide parts for vehicles and help set up barricades, they are also the team's pilot/driver, more experienced at handling vehicles than others. They are to build and take down barricades for the team if necessary. (Zer0's Preferred Loadout: M1014, M9, and Civilian Clothing.) Gatherer/Scavenger: The Gatherer or Scavenger (Doesn't matter), gathers supplies for the group, and are mainly passive until needed. They help sort the team's stock and help direct the team towards points of interests that contain valuable supplies. (Zer0's Preferred Loadout: Lee Enfield, M1911, and a Female Character) Hunter: This role isn't important, but can be implemented in a team. They usually go out alone to hunt animals and refill water canteens, they stray away from all villages/towns/cities. (Zer0's Loadout: Double-Barreled Shotgun or Crossbow, Revolver, and Camo Clothing) Leader/Tactician: The Leader leads and supervises the team, they direct everyone, and make sure the team stays safe. They are the most important, and help provide planning for all operations, places for overwatch, paths to cross. They work closely with the Scavenger to take count of the team's stock, and for scavenging missions. (Zer0's Preferred Loadout: M16A3 ACOG, M9, and a Soldier Outfit) Lone Wolf: The Lone Wolf, depends mainly on themselves, and have their own choice on interacting with players (Seen at the top), they are extremely adaptable and versatile, they choose any kind of playstyle they want, whether it's sneaking or running through a town, or scaring players off. (The List is to updated by me or any players willing to add suggestions or criticism.) Thanks for reading!

Bump... Please, read this. -
Soldier Clothing for me. The Soldier outfit was removed from the Loot Tables and looks like this. You could find some at old camps or from a Hacker. I currently wear this outfit with a L85A2 AWS and G17, makes me look just like a Soldier... :D

When you find a bundle of Soldier Clothing...
Mr-Zer0 replied to Mr-Zer0's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
The post fucked up a bit due to the stupid editor... UPDATE: Fixed. -
Found a Hacker Stash, like... Weapons that aren't even in the game. AS50 TWS, AKS (Gold), G36C SD, some other crap, and some high-end gear. We some good stuff. I rolled with a L85A2 AWS, NVGs, Rangefinders, GPS, all other tools except Radio, also a possible hacked outfit (Soldier Clothing). So, we decide we'll just be 'Chaotic Friendly' as in not shooting on sight, but making the player drop their weapons and to run off. So, we ride in our GAZ and Offroad Pickup, my friend who is driving the Pickup (Otherwise known as the worst player on Day Z), my friend crashes into a broken car on the road, and gets himself and our other friend (The good player) killed. So, I come back to pick them up and loot the hacker stash again, and we go forth into the sunset... Until my friend who sucks at Day Z gets himself hurt, and we had to find a Bandage for him all the way at Elektro and come back to Prigo. So, afterwards, we find our Offroad Pickup, untouched and not destroyed. So my friend who sucks at Day Z jizzes in his pants and decides to drive it again... We go along, and my friend fucks up multiple times while driving, and eventually blows himself up due to his stupidity. So, we get fucked and I start bleeding, so I disconnect to go onto another server to find bandages since none spawned in a Grocery Store and Brick House. So, I come back to the same server after my friend who is good at Day Z found one, and I suddenly glitch and spawn in Kamenka with all my gear. I direct my friend to drive the GAZ to Kamenka, until he got blown up by some asshole who thought he could fuck some 'noob' up. Thanks, friend who sucks at Day Z... (I survived in the end.)

You don't get banned from the main database for finding a hacked weapon, but you may get reported and banned by server admins.

We didn't use the hacked ones... I only looted the Soldier Outfit, which actually does nothing but change my look.
