I am the admin. I banned you. Deal with it. Actually, I kicked him first, then banned for 10 minutes. He needs to learn to read. For the record, not that it matters, but we have to deal with children yelping on side chat all day. We have it enabled for text only communication. I stated this clearly multiple times; and then got frustrated. So yeah, after you see me type "I am banning the next one to voice up." you speak in side... Smart.

Any ETA on when we'll be able to change more specific server settings or server files? We're finding our server suffers MASSIVE desync when more than 30 people are playing. Also we'd like to be able to edit the chopper loot tables via the config files.

We just ordered our server. Hoping we get some file access to alter the helicopter drops etc. Smooth so far!

We had that issue too. Seemed like restarting the server worked.

Everything seems to be up, but we cannot get any vehicles to spawn.

We're been having some pretty bad desync issues on our server. Sometimes it takes ages to enter a vehicle, or interact with something. Other times it works like a charm, but other players either cannot see you, or do not register where you are. Had some friendly fire incidents due to myself seeing someone fifteen meters away, yet them actually being directly infront of me. I hope this gets sorted out.

You're probably logging into Private Hives. You character isn't saved to the regular servers, so you're forced to create a new character.

I like your SD PDW. Not saying he wasn't cheating, but the fire is a bug from the chopper crashing and burning. Happens all over.

This alt-F4 crap is terrible. I killed about 5 people today, and all of them DC'd on me as they died. Got my Murder/Bandit Kills but their bodies just vanish. Take your death, re-gear, and get revenge.

Depending on how many people are on the server it can take a few minutes. Which loading screen is it? Does it have a bar with progress on it, or is it a black screen with "loading"? If it has a bar, I think it has to do with battleye, if it's solid colored, it may have to do with your beta version. Or, you just need to wait. best case you get in, worst case shut the game down and try another server.

I don't have specifics, but I don't think bullets magically disappear. Had a buddy try shooting 400m with his M4A1 CCO SD, which should have an effective range of ~200m. His shots were going off quite a bit; high and low. I think you just need to manually compensate for higher ranges. It could also be gun specific, in which case folks may need some more information about which weapon you're using, and what ammo.

Nothing new. I've been killed with 12k Blood, and with -50,000 Blood.

I've noticed a few times recently that when I log into almost any server I get the "Daemon was killed" message in the text window. I then am shown the 'You Are Dead' screen. Oddly enough though, the background of the 'You Are Dead' screen is that of the infamous Debug Forest. When I click abort, go to the lobby and come back in to restart, I am where I logged out. Sometimes my body is dead beside me. Rather than using duped items, I immediately click 'Hide Body'. Not sure if it's been posted, but just thought I would put my 2 cents up here. I am running 1.7.2.3 and beta 95054. Could it be an issue with the beta itself? This happened in other beta builds and in 1.7.2 as well.

Get some screen shots. In all reality, just find a new server and stop playing with douches.

When you're playing multiplayer, your CPU is loading a lot more items and instances of people, buildings etc... When you play Battlefield as stated before, it's all pre-rendered and your graphics card is doing all the work. For a cheaper quad core you may look at the Phenom II x4 840. I run it overclocked to 3.5 and have no issues in game. It's got nothing on the newer Intel chips though.

My group had our tents vanish like that a while back. Sometimes a server reset can fix the issue. Barring that, start collecting again and stop getting attached.

Yes it does. There are many how-to's on this site, and from Google. Gyro is correct though, some of the textures are of lower resolution, but it is very playable.
