I just bought what is essentialy an m24 minus the barrel upgrade, and I live in one of europes lowest gun per capita countries. Guns are a lot more common that you may think, especialy in germany.

Puclic thanks to psychobob for an outstanding job today. Zombie glitched, appeared behind me and ko'd me, I got up, shot him, and passed out. Alt-f4'd (because there's no way that's a legit way to die,) when I'm on 1500 health. Had a reasonably good idea of my location, in the middle of nowhere. He popped in, thermaled me as I wen't unconcious, and saved my ass when I was on 285. This in turn lead me to be able to save my friend, who I caught on 155! Effectively saved both our lives in minutes. Great stuff. Beans for you.

Well, I was headding down to goodcat! for anti-bios and I spawned in to his server with perfect health and no infection. I'm going to put it down to his amazing medic abilities. First time asking a medic for help. Never actualy got to meet the guy, but overall a great experience.

Help please! Team mates went off to berez, elek, and cherno, no anti-bios to be found :-( I've tried adding all the NW sector medics, but to no avail.

I'm having a lot of difficulty getting hold of a medic. Would really appreciate a helping hand! In need of anti-bios, slightly west of NWAF. Can move maybe in a 3.5 1km grid radius from my location. :-D Pm me, add me on steam, or reply to get a hold of me. Steam name is the same. I think the system is having problems at the moment though with adding / accepting.

Working fine for me again. I think I'd just connected to several peice of shit servers jam packed with useless crap; lagging it up.

Oc'd and watercooled i7 @3.8ghz asus rampage 2 extreme gtx 580 - evga 8gb dominator standard enough x2 1tb hdd's 900w psu, tagen Overall, a bit of a beast. Getting 8fps on the beach! Insane. Was recording at 60fps on almost max settings (just draw distance down to 3000m) before patch. Now unplayable. Now I'm dead. No idea what killed me :-D

I figured out how I died. I had tried earlier to get in to cz02, but with the massive waiting time in loading (which is new) I timed out and was admin kicked. I didn't notice, but a friend of mine saw my name in cz02, even though I'd been kicked. My char. starved to death / dehydrated in cz02 while I was playing on de 21 or something, and died. Thus making my de 21 play defunct. I don't know how such a simple thing, such as actualy logging a player who has been kicked out, out, could be missed. To be fair though, this is my frist death from a game bug, and over all I'm very happy. I think the game needs to focus a little more on the little things like this, than getting heli's back in and making ghillies work. What use are they, if you might die at any moment?

Running around nw/af, all is well, get stuck in walk mode, mash shift to get back to normal, sticky keys tries to turn on. Second arma2 randomly opens up when I alt+tab back in, alt+tab back out to see what's going on, and I'm met with a dead screen. Panick, as I certainly shouldn't be dead, and open up the window I was playing where all seemed well. All was well. Continued playing, got to camp, logged off. Logged back in, on server where our camp actualy is (cz02) and spawn on the beach. What on earth was that second window, how did it kill me, and why didn't my char. save when I logged out an hour or so after the weird death screen? :-( I loved that char.

As a fresh spawn, no gear, but having a few weeks gameplay under my belt; I legged to to cherno. I picked up a few zombies along the way but wasn't too worried as they're easy enough to lose in the city. I spotted a reasonably well equiped guy on an ATV just flying around with an AKM on his back, with his friend who had a DMR. Shouting over direct, I asked him for a ride away from the zombies, told him it was my second spawn. He was cautious, but obliged. Having driven me to safety I asked him in a most retarded manner "Uh, how do I get a gun. I found an mackerov in one of those red door'd buildings." He laughed in a jovial fashion, chalking my silly question up to noob's innocence. He said he'd help me get on my feet. First he brought me to the general store (his friend is providing sniper cover for us the entire time, dropping zombies quite well,) and gets me an alice pack. I pretend to not know how to equip it and he details the steps repeatedly and patiently until I put the bag on. He stocks me up with food, and gives me medical supplies. Blood bags and morphine. Then he brings me to the firestation, and gets me an akm, there's no ammo, so he gives me two magazines of his own. I keep thanking him repeatedly like this is the best gear ever, and he just keeps laughing in an "oh, I'm such a nice uber-pro" kind of way. He tells me he's going off with his friend, but I'm welcome to keep the ATV. It was in perfect nick. After we said our good byes, and I wished him all the best, and he the same for me; I put ten rounds in his back, robbed him, and ghosted his friend. Tim, when next we meet, I'll do it again.

I love those people who announce themselves on direct, then salute or something. Stationary targets are just such a pleasure.
