Why would there be (depending on player population) player immunization? Traveling with friends , friend gets scratched , later dies , re animation . It adds more to the suspenseful feeling . Then these so called "zombies" are merely infected human beings?

Me and a friend were talking about this idea. Other survivors (being AI), starting a safe haven of their own , being in smaller villages or post up in a certain areas of larger cities . An opportunity to trade with other player survivors or just exchanging items for food or drink with the npc's that inhabit these areas. A place to feel safe . A feeling that is rarely felt in the world of DayZ, but all in all , that same feeling could be snatched away in an instant . That being from a bandit attack or wandering hordes of the undead. This idea is plausible , but i don't see it happening any time soon .
