All this drama for one guy who can't play on one of the hundreds of servers. It's no wonder more and more admins are closing them down. I'd suffer 10 badmins (I really like that word btw) if we could get 1 good one in return who cares and is actually ALLOWED to care any day.

Military precision rifles on civilian deer stands. Military ghillie suits in grandma's closet. Endless running that makes the Iron Man look like a newbie. Zombies that suddenly "pop up" whenever you get close to a building. Sorry to break it to you, but if you're looking for realistic gameplay, you'll have to look somewhere else! :(

The L85 isn't the problem. The duping and hacking in of AS50 with Thermal Scopes are. The L85 AWS by itself is actually a really crappy weapon. Damage like any other western assault rifle and only 300m effective range with a ridiculous bullet spray that makes a Mk48 machine gun look like a precision rifle. If it were to be as rare as it's supposed to it wouldn't be much of an issue.

Find an ingame map, look at it, then you'll see how far it actually goes. There's just nothing out there and your tents/cars won't be saved afaik. You certainly don't die if you "cross the line" tho.

Pretty much the same on the few servers I've been on today. I've never seen a global ban happening before. Maybe Battleye just started to report them to show us they're actually working on DayZ?

This isn't Quake III Arena.

Thanks. I actually complained about the nametags being activated on that server. Good thing they were still on I guess. The admin has already responded, but a global ban would be nice as well.

The whole story started out quite nicely actually. A friend and I got shot down by a landed helicopter. No big deal, we went back to scavenging. I was near Balota and checked the deer stands of the medical tents. Then the same helicopter came by, hovering over the tents. I was sure I'd get shot again and was already joking to my friend about my luck, but instead the helicopter guys asked me if I wanted to come with them. I thought I had finally met some nice people in this game who don't shoot on first sight. Twice. Now they asked me if I needed a sniper rifle, since the target was 700m away. I like sniping, so I said yes. These are the first nice people I met in this game. Too bad they're cheaters, otherwise I would have loved to roll with them.

Same happend to us on FR 155. Attacking a chopper that landed to refuel and suddenly someone "accidently" trips over the power cable of the server.
