Yup thats about where I'm at with others I don't know. My first was a fella that came running into a barn I was in with a train of infected. He's struggling with a hatchet, standing in the large door getting beat down by infected. Some start coming in from the rear door and hitting him as well. Well I'm fully stocked on 1866 ammo, so I fire from upstairs and help this guy deal with his zombie problem. I start to dig through my inventory to toss this hapless fella a band aid and immediately start taking hatchet hits to my brow area. I close my inventory as fast as possible and drop him , but with my new broken leg and a 8000k journey to the nearest hospital I learned one very valuable Dayz lesson. My heart gets pumping like crazy now every time I even spot a player.

You can learn a lot about yourself in this game. Any game that can evoke emotions like this is amazing, enjoy it while it lasts.

All players in this game are wolves, if your in the pack you're golden if your not you're food. Be skeptical of every player based situation. Trust no one. If someone even utters something that can be construed as a threat, tries to make you jump through hoops or intimidates you in any way shape or form in game , or even tries to stand to close , shoot them. Because I guarantee you that is what they plan to do to you, so might as well tag them since you're going to die anyway. You can find the rare friendly in game but you'll find the impostors more often than not. This isn't just the OP asking/reading. He/She only has 6 posts ,this one is in the NEW PLAYER section and it's not like his eleventy billonth complaint. There is a constant influx of new people who don't understand the unwritten rules of this game, you can help them learn or publicly torment them for asking. I mean we are up to what now 800,000 people or so. Plenty of lurkers never post and learn a lot by reading these boards too. I find it's easier to be a dick but more rewarding to be helpful.

1911 hands down. Plentiful ammo and one shot kills. The pdw is not even worth carrying for a friend in my opinion.

The amount of RAM allocated to Dayz or any game is freed when you quit the game. If you are alt tabbing between two different games then no, the RAM will be shared and persistent until one of them is shut down.

A 250 gts is beefy enough to play BF3, I would assume your 550ti will run it and GTA just fine.

I have problems shooting anything with any weapon without using bore sights (2 right cliks and hold the second one down). Those floating green sights are worthless even when zoomed in.
