As this guy said, if you see the words "private hive" or "Sanctuary", those are not supported servers. That said most servers are supported but you will find these littered throughout the server list here and there. I understand that cracked versions of the game are notorious for this happening too.

Someone in another thread said hitting V will stop the fall and start the animation.

Careful doing it that way, you might burn up some parts. But yeah, disconning is really the only thing you can do , other than dance like a puppet for the script kids entertainment that is. -
Hmm ,no not exactly . Its not the difficulty , Servers that are not official Dayz servers won't save your data to the hive. The hive is where your data resides when you are not playing.

It sucks that you were teleported. It won't take but three hours to cross the map crawling 8000km , so wait to die or do something about it in those three hours.

They do it for the attention, good or bad , they don't care. By posting here you help them achieve their goal. It sucks to be sure, and most everyone who doesn't script to win will agree with you. But these posts only fuel their fire.

I'm not really comfortable calling any bad act banditry. Because not all bandits are equal in my eyes. I'd say you have several classes of players in game, survivors, samaritans , vigilantes, bandits, killers, and thieves. I think all of them contribute immensely to make this game the phenomenal experience that it is and are a plus to the game world with the exception of killers in my opinion. Not all killers mind you, just the guys that snipe people as they spawn on the beach , My opinion is that they are just as worthless as the script kiddies that plague this game.

If you're playing on a Sanctuary or non hive server, you can lose all progress. Picking a regular server will help.

My advice is if you get tele-ported anywhere,or notice anything amiss , leave the server immediately, don't bother playing their game or trying to communicate with them. They are there for attention, any attention , deny them their prize. -

Last Patch fucks up my graphics badly

The loot spawns when the zombies do , and I believe that the loot respawns only when an entire loot pile is cleaned out. If you even leave an empty can nothing else can spawn there I think.

I cant really help to much with out knowing your location. Dont go to the grassy nothing land. Head back away from that (opposite direction) and start looking for any roads ,power lines in the distance. If you find any road or power line follow them to the town they lead to,there you can find food and water.

Lol! I'll try another too. The Confused Bandit- Run at unarmed noobs on the beach,Tell them this is a stick up!!! demand that they put their hands up. Then proceed to throw all my equipment on the ground and run into the woods screaming hysterically.

I am so gonna try this! Ok I'll take a stab at it. The Crazy Hoarder - Build tents real close to town and in sight surround it with bear traps , shoot wildly at anyone in sight while shouting something about my stash! but fill the tent with empty tin cans and empty whiskey bottles.
