ARMA is a simulation type game. It isn't really meant to be user-friendly or particularly smooth and fast-paced.

It is a bit dficult for new players to start out in dark servers, but there are a lot of things to help: flashlight,flares,chemlights. They are usually pretty plentiful in loot spawns.

Melee slot would be an excellent idea, but it would help survivors too much. Rocket HATES that. -

I do feel like most of the long range "sniper" rifles in this game have almost no downside when it comes to player vs. player. Might be a good idea to make the zeroing less fluid. -
It's a MOD not a game. MODS usually aren't for consoles. If you want to play with MODS, play on PC. Also, it's still in alpha, i think expanding to consoles is on the bottom of the development team's list.

There is "SD" ammo in the game that works with supressed weapons such as the MP5SD6 and M9 SD.

With all the d/c'ers/ghosters I would have to say this is a bad idea. Just seems like it would benefit them more than anyone else.

Yea, i've heard similar stories from friends. Spawning with weapons/items that you didn't originally find. Not really sure what causes it.

Way i see it, with the amount of people increasing every day who play this game, it probably puts a big strain on development of the mod. It's in alpha but there are still so many people playing, and not many helping with testing. -
My friend got run over by a tractor, not even joking. He said it was faster than he thought it would be.

I actually have the same problem. I get a black screen and then my computer basically is just unresponsive, so i have to force a restart or shut it down manually. For me it happens in DayZ and Arma II though.

Don't discourage PvP, but encourage Cooperation

It is kind of a shame that the game has developed (or maybe devolved) into basically a "shoot on sight" policy that everyone uses. I don't have a problem with it really, but my group of friends are the only survivors i have played alongside. Would be cool to join up with people on the go. -
I haven't experienced any of this. If anything, it seems like zombies agro for no reason at all; literally running from 100 meters away even when i'm crawling prone and not in clear sight. Also losing the agro isn't easy unless you run through buildings to slow them down, they seem to follow just fine through forest/foliage.

I think it's alright where it's at. First of all, it shoots a really heavy hitting round IRL wihch has been translated into the game as it should have been. Secondly, it's loud as hell, which is why it is commonly referred to as the "Dinner Bell". Thirdly, since you seem to hate it's PVP power, why not just use it yourself if it is so obviously overpowered. The game isn't just about killing other players, it also involves things like resource gathering and killing zombies without drawing a horde of them on you.
