I think SKS would be a great idea; that along with the Mosin Nagant were produced so much in Russia that it's kind of ridiculous that niether are in the game. Tokarev pistol would be pretty sweet too. -
Pretty much, the pathing of the zombies makes it near impossible to get reliable headshots. Unless of course, they get caught in doorway "speedbumps".

Would really help me and my friends out, i know that. Half the time we just give up trying to group up because some of us end up waiting in the woods instead of actually playing the game. At the same time though, i feel like having groups spawning on each other would decrease the difficulty of the game.

Zombies aren't TOO dificult to lose. Just gotta get behind trees/bushes and run like a bat outta hell. Climbing up steep hills usually helps as well. Any major city has an abundance of weapons, perhaps I'd like to see an increase in weapons in some of the smaller towns though.

As i'm sure everyone has noticed by now, there are many weapons that have had their damage severely reduced due to the ARMA update. Are there any plans by the DayZ team to do something about the damage of the weapons that got nerfed into the ground? Pistols are borderline useless, and some of the other pistol caliber weapons are as well. In fact, there is almost no reason to have a 1911/Revolver anymore, because you might as well keep something with a higher capacity magazine such as the G17 and aim for headshots. We need some of these damage values, especially on the pistols and submachine guns, reverted or at least tweaked a little bit to what they originally were.

Yep, the only way you can really do any decent damage with a Makarov is with headshots. In the condition you were in, you had no chance. It's hard enough to headshot with those Maks, shaking amplifies that dificulty quite a bit.

It's kind of already difficult enough just to find a car in decent shape. Adding keys will just make it even more difficult. Then, of course, people will just trash your car once they figure out they can't start it up. -

There will always be "bandit" players/groups no matter what you do, and i don't think making it difficult to get supplies will help that. I would like to see some sort of "sharing" element implemented to promote teamwork between survivors. -

I'd just like the ability to make custom shirts/pants and/or be able to loot solidly colored clothes. Kind of lame not knowing what the color of your clothes are, since you see something different from everyone else. -
Only problems I've had so far are getting put into the Wildeness on spawn. Luckily the feature they implemented made it so i respawned in a new area with all my gear. So not too big of a deal other than getting put into a random spawn area.

Yea, that Enfield took a huge hit. I thought it was balanced because you got huge damage at the cost of alerting everything in the area. Ol'well i guess.

Zombies aren't the only thing you have to fight though. I haven't experienced fighting against other survivors with any of the weapons that had their damage reduced, but i think this also impacts the game negatively. It shouldn't take more than one magazine from a Makarov (now 889 damage) to kill another player, even if you don't headshot with it.

I honestly wouldn't have such a problem with the damage reductions if zombies could path a little bit better. The way they are now is a bit unpredictable (in a glitchy/unrealistic way). One second you have your iron sights drawn right on their head, the next they are on your side/ass beating you up. The only reliable way to get headshots is inside buildings when they slow down a bit.

Don't worry bro, if you don't get their loot/vehicles, I'm sure mother nature will. Of course, by that i mean a server restart or patch update. Hoarder tears taste so sweet! -
Seems like the vast amount of players getting involved with the MOD are the reason for a lack of development. With servers being full to the brim, more problems are popping up, and older problems/things that were going to be implemented have to take a backseat.

My friend had just found one for the first time about a week ago. As soon as he rides off, he rolls it in a little ditch, haha. We just stood there and looked at it for a little bit, then moved on. Would be a nice feature to flip ATVs.

Honestly, the problem with zombies isn't that they're fast, it's that they are wild and unpredictable in their pathing (in an unrealistic/glitchy way). Once you draw up your iron sights on a fast approaching zombie, all of a sudden they are behind you and chewing on your ass. -
I was using some binoculars today and instinctually held my right click to try and zoom in, just like on some of the high powered rifles with scopes in this game. Of course, i found out that no zoom feature was applied to the binoculars. To me it just seems natural to give the binoculars an adjustable range that you can focus on, or at the very least a basic zoom feature as mentioned before. It's not a big deal, but i think it would add a little bit of utility and immersion to the game.

If i shoot a zombie next to me and then log out afterwards do i get killed? This is something that might not be able to be implemented safely.

I really appreciate the attempt to stop Alt + F4, but one thing bothers me a little bit. Sometimes i need to switch servers to find one with good ping/settings. Is there going to be a punishment for going to different servers, or is it just going to be applied to reconnecting to the same server?
