Deagen, i notice you have a hard time finding servers to get in. My recommendation, stop using SixLauncher. Find the Arma Beta Patch shortcut in your Arma folder, and add "-mod=@dayz", this way you can use the Arma servers list directly. I found that I can enter servers that don't even match my beta patch version this way (maybe the admins didn't change the server name yet), but I can get into servers randomly picked in like less than 1 minute. And also found that there are tons of empty servers (or with less than 5 people) that works very well in the Arma servers list, in SixUpdater I can't even enter in servers with few people.

I just had a "problem" where i logged back in and instead of being where i left (Zelenogorsk), I was in the water at Prigorodky. Lost my backpack, both of my weapons and everything on my toolbelt (map, matches, hatchet, compass). Trying to recover, I found a winchester and some ammo, so I went to Cherno to see if I could find a backpack there and get some new gear. Saw a guy passing by with a hatchet (he didn't saw me) running from zeds and getting into a small building, I got in from the back and shoot the zombie, I talked to the guy and he didn't reply, instead he tried to hit me with the hatchet, so I shot him. Using the mouse scroll wheel I see an option "check pulse" (haven't seen that before) so I check it and it said "pulse is strong", i was like mmm should i shot him in the head... but instead I waited, i didn't even checked his gear (he was a fresh spawned). The guy wakes up and try to hit me again while I am pointing my winchester to his head, so I shot him dead and took his coyote patrol backpack. Lucky me i turn around and found a czech backpack. Now I only need some matches to get back in the wild :) I am sorry for the guy, but he shouldn't try to hit someone with a hatchet when they are pointing a gun at them lol.

I don't think so, I've seen that too. But this time the zed was clearly behind the building, like 10 meters behind it, not inside. I saw it appear running to the side of the building and then to my direction.

Regarding zombies aggro, with the beta patch 95054 and dayz 1.7.2.3 I am starting to notice some really weird things. I got out a house crawling, even "slow" crawling (you know when you press shift or whatever key you bind it to, it crawl slower), i crawl 10 meters, zombie aggro from behind and I checked before going out and there wasn't any. Went back to the house, kill the zombie and try again. Same thing, I even saw one that came running from behind a building like 40 mts away, I was crawling on the grass on the other side of the road, and it still got aggroed, there's no way i could have been no his line of sight, or that he could have heard me. This happened like 8 times in a row, until I got bored of it and closed the game. Also I was at Zelenogorsk when I closed the game, when i came back I was at Prigorodky, on the water and without my backpack.

I only found another survivor twice, first time he headshot me with a makarov for no reason. So i think if I ever encounter another player, i would shoot only if he see me, otherwise I would try to avoid him. Second time, both had no guns, but hatchet in hand, he started walking towards me and tried to hit me, so I did the same and killed him.

I found some clothings today, it was called "civilian clothes" or something like that. I think it changed my shirt to a black one.

i personally just got in and out of about 10 servers, 3 with desync issues, 2 kicked me for high ping, the rest were night time even when according to the server name should be around 11am.

Try playing with the advanced video settings, first disable post processing effects, if that doesn't work start changing everything, some setting may "fix" your problem.

This has to be done very carefully and well though because there are a lot of people that have to try to get into a lot of servers until they can actually get into the game.

Fresh spawn, had like 10 zeds in my back, got into Balota tower, found a winchester with ammo took it but dropped my hatchet so I dropped the winchester to take the hatchet and put it on my toolbelt, and the winchester disappeared. Zombies ate me ¬¬

I always find winchester on barns. If you are near Balota you should check the hangars, I found an "uzi" (PDW) there, and a dead player with an ak74. Also there are 4 deer stands there.

The project is STILL in alpha state, yes we would like it to progress faster, but it's what it is and people should keep this in mind, alpha equal buggy most of the time, it's far from a final product.

I am with 95054 now, and found a few servers that worked pretty well, at first I was getting stuck on every server but after a few hours it seems to work.

i like this idea, or at least make it possible to use blood bags on ourself, make them less effective or whatever. But it sucks that you need someone else to use it on you, I don't have any friends playing the game :( lol

Yes please someone explain us how to downgrade if possible, 94876 worked GREAT for me, with 95 I couldn't even get into the game yet, first was stuck at "wait for host"; now it enters the lobby but gets stuck at "Loading" with the progress bar full.

Six launcher just updated my beta patch to 95054, and in most server (with the same version) I get stuck at "wait for host", only a few worked.

I am noticing something weird with zeds spawns, for example yesterday I was at the military tents on Stary Sobor, i would get into a tent, a zombie spawns in front of me, I shoot him and he disappears (I didn't kill him, and also saw them disappear without me even shooting). Also saw this happening on a small shelter near the lake in Ozerko. It seems to happen when zeds spawn inside "buildings".

Today I wanted to play on a server with few players (yea, what a noob i am), so I ran sixlauncher and ordered the servers by players, tried to get into some servers randomly, until one worked. It worked pretty well, no lag or anything. But when I closed the game, i noticed the server name said something like "NO-CDKEY", so I guess it's a server for pirated versions of Arma. So my question is, what could happen if i get into these servers? Could they steal my cd key or something like that? Also, why would sixlauncher show these kind of servers in the list?

In sixlauncher i found only 2 servers from my country, that are not always online, and are both password protected. I'd like to play there but I couldn't find a way to contact the admin to ask if I could get the password. Is there a way to get the email or something to contact the administrator of a server?

Thanks for the info, didn't know that. But on sixlauncher there are a lot of pwd protected servers, maybe all these servers are not connected to the hive. I'll keep researching.
