This is really sad, most of the admins and clans are cheating. If you do some research on google you will find them admitting it on other forums (not using their real names and telling which server they admin of course). What they say they do is turning off battleye for 15 minutes, hacking all they want, and then turning it back on. So they never get caught. Community servers are awesome cause we have tons of them, but too bad most of the admins are assholes.

I was watching /deagen twitch live stream today, and he found one in elektro or cherno appartments, so either cheaters are dropping them anywhere or the loot places changed. You can check the recorded stream later today when it ends, and you will see it.

I think if you have the latest beta patches you can't play arma2.exe online, only arma2co.exe which has different servers. (Found about this reading on BI forums). When I try to launch arma2.exe (the green icon), I connect to a server and it goes fine until the last loading screen, then it crashes and gives an error related to battleye. I did some research and saw people having the same error, the answers said they should reinstall and update only until the beta patch 94xxx. edit: oops sorry didn't saw the initial post was about single player, I had this problem also and it was because I was launching the beta patch armaco shortcut, launching the normal armaco shortcut worked fine, otherwise the missions and other stuff wont work or will have missing vehicles etc.

I agree with Bozo, FPS games shouldn't be played with controllers, and those games that allow it most of the time aim for you.

I had a similar experience once, found some sort of jeep I never saw before, drove around the coast to the north, and I found my first boat. I was like hell yea my lucky day, 5 minutes after that a hacker teleported us all and dropped a nuke lol.

The "program" to cheat the game is just scripting, arma 2 engine is very open since I believe it was made so people can modify it. Thats why we have maps with the loot locations and that kind of stuff, is not like people walked around the map writing every loot pile by hand. You can actually read all the "code" that makes dayz what it is, because it's just scripting, not a compiled code. What battleye detects is the use of these scripts, so once battleye detects the way they are using it, they need a new bypass method. There are probably just a few people creating these bypass and releasing them to the public. Then all the "kids" use them like crazy until they get banned, and then a new bypass method is released and the cycle continues.

This is mostly because today there was a public release of a new way to bypass cheat detections (devs are probably aware of this since it's all over the net). Until battleye comes up with another update, expect to see "hackers" everywhere. I've been seeing helis on most of the servers I get in, im trying not to play since i dont want to end up teleported and dead, but i really want to play :P

Yesterday I was fresh spawn and running on the coast to cherno when i saw someone bleeding because of a zombies attack, he had starter gear, so I ran where he was and applied my only bandage, also gave him my only painkillers. He told me "thank you friend" and we ran away in different directions. It was pretty funny but also was one of the only friendly encounters i had in the game.

Saw this happening on a barn near stary sobor, I killed like 100 zombies with the hatchet (it was easy cause they all got stuck at the door), and they kept coming.

IP ban is the easier to bypass, those that have dynamic ips just need to restart the modem.

Besides bypassing BE protection, the more advanced cheaters (those that code the cheat themself and not just execute something public), have a way to use other players ids to make it look like it is another player the one who is hacking. So right now BE is not very good against real cheater, they just ban those trying to run public cheats. Your method of banning seems ok since it's not a global ban and anyone can appeal to you if they feel they were banned by error.

I am stuck unconscious in one of the cherno militar tents, I see the sandclock icon but it never changes (more info http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/54071-stuck-unconscious-at-sandclock-icon/). Could someone come and kill me so I can continue playing? If someone could, please tell me in which server to get in by pm. And no, it's not a trap.

Which respawn? The one they took out? Or the one in the menu you cant access while unconscious?

As you may know if you played for a while, when you are unconscious you cant access the game menu. Also aborting wont kill you, just get you out the server, when you come back in you are still unconscious. And as I already said in the two previous posts, someone already killed me.

Don't worry someone already killed me. I only had an einfield, was a fresh spawn.

Already 2 people walked next to me, they just checked me out without doing anything. FINALLY, the third person did it.

Today some guy started shooting me, and the server restarted right at that moment, I tried to get into another server and now I see my leg is broken and i am unconscious, but the sandclock icon is always white and never changes, I waited for like 20 minutes, and it's still all white. All I can do is alt+f4 and where I get into another server the same thing happens. My blood is low but I am not bleeding so i am not going to die, I am just stuck there. What can i do?

It doesn't seem to be moving at all after 30 minutes, still full white. Finally, someone walked by me and shot me.

in one of the militar tents in cherno, I would ask a friend to come and kill me but my only gamer friend doesnt play dayz. I started another thread on this forum to see if someone can come kill me so I can continue playing, waiting for a volunteer.

Not sure if this report will accomplish anything since I have no proof but maybe the admins of the US #00 read the forums and can check their logs. Around 21:00 (GMT-3) all the players got teleported to some place with ammo crates and were told to arm themself and fight to death. The ammo crates had all the items on the game and more. It was actually pretty funny but after days of not playing because of hackers and having this happening, I am tired of playing. I guess I will wait for the beta or final release.

Im on the same situation lol, broken leg and hiding behind the stairs, not sure if I should respawn or not yet. I'm not crawling back to the coast for sure. I have my backpack full of meat and drinks, but no morphine left. Does anyone know if morphine only spawns at the hospital / medical tents on cherno? I once found 3 morphines in the balota hangars, but not sure if someone dropped them or what.

I shot an AK once to the chest, once to the legs and the zed kept crawling towards me. Pistols sucks hard now, G17 needs like 8 shots to kill a zed lol, even the 1911 and revolver need several hits to the body to kill. It looks like If you are going to use pistols you need an Alice backpack FULL of ammo or you wont be able to take down a horde of zombies.
