btw he gave me the weapon and rangefinders because I reported to him the hacker box on the server that two turd hackers spawned in.

banned for unknown reason, public server... as soon as my buddy and I logged in the admin sent a message saying he was restarting the server to ban hackers. this is the same server we played on before where the admin himself put a weapon and range finders in my backpack. the whole situation is confusing to me, but after review of server abuse threads it isnt the first time he has banned people without cause or reason.

I am extremely upset about this situation, this is not the first report on this server and hope that the dayz public host decides to at the very least look into this situation. I joined before a few weeks ago on Silas's server where a hacker destroyed the server, to include the helecopters and killed everyone... it happens, he spawned boxes and I advised the admin silas about this after he banned the hacker. for my troubles the admin gave me a gun and nvgs/rangefinder... again this was a few weeks ago. I gave him TS info to (AHP) which is a clan of a few hundred people and also pays for its own private server. I come in today and within seconds of joining my buddy and I were both banned... there wasn't chat, there wasn't any warning, there was nothing but the admin message, SERVER RESTARTING TO BAN HACKERS, saturday 12/22/2012 12:30am est. my steam name is innocent bystander- my in game name was (-AHP-) INNOCENT... This guy has proved himself unworthy of public server access, the other threads were locked on him because of chat log not being enough and not evidence... you tell me, what the heck is enough evidence? Consider him as your ambassador in this matter, he is a representation of how DayZ public hive servers are run and the players treated. The fact that his title says "no pvp" for the server name should indicate at least on some level for you, his intentions on how he runs the PUBLIC server for you. This is why more and more people are turning to Private Hives like ours and pulling away from your public servers

my question is why you would find it amusing that he jumped on this situation so quickly? while i find your solution to the problem to be legit, his concern of being kicked without reason and having the server locked is also legit and shouldnt be so blantly disregarded or amusing to you... juz sayin

the real question is why cant we have pet zombies? i mean wtf why havent we tried to tame them?

imagine... killing a hacker... picking up his weapon/gear only to get banned...

remember kiddies... if your dumb enough to get spotted and shot then take it like a man and die... alt+f4 is for care bears worried they are going to die in a world meant not for surviving but how long will it be before you die... thats half the fun!

...if you died you lost your gear... why would they ban you to get gear they already got?

i've seen the same thing happen to myself, logged out to use the restroom, logged back in staring at someone with the same weapon i had and backpack, since i didnt know if he was a bandit i shot... he stood still, i shot again... nothing, no bleeding no death.. I ran away as i felt i was facing off with the terminator. I came to the conclusion it was me before i logged out...

sniff.... thats why my l85 disappeared... thought someone just raided my tent and took only that. I loved using it to scout around me when i'm about to do something stupid like cross an open field.

Raging at the moment... lost my l85 and some other gear... it would have been one thing if i lost it because i was stupid and killed by zombies/bandits... but to lose it to a glitch in the game.. ughh frustrating. thankfully its a game and i can get it back eventually but man oh man.
