verius (DayZ)

Everyone that joins the server now after going from 1.7.7 to 1.7.7.1 seagulls and gets kicked. anyone else having this issue?

I am trying to find that also.

so there are a few things, A) You have not created a post to get unbanned on the correct forums. B) There is no admin by that name on our server. If there was an admin on they would have had "the pantless" at the end of their name. C) Hackers happen in dayz all the time and its pretty normal. Even with the tools available you will not be able to stop all the hackers all the time. Had you filled out the request on the correct forums this would be handled. However because you still have not filled out the request to be unbanned on the correct forums you will remain banned till that happens. At this point in time this issue has been closed and no further action will be taken till the relevant party follows the clear instructions posted on the site. Thanks, Verius

Even if i can't play the SA right away.. Is there any possibility i can get a SA server stood up so it will be ready when Closed testing is done?

is anyone else able to get the new hive working on a non private server? Every time i try to get it running using the files in the email i got (old or new email) it always gives me invalid server side app. Like it can't talk to the hive correctly. If i use the 0.7.4 version of the hive it connects with no problem.

I have the exact came problem running the 8.0.0 or 9.6.6 hive. if i run the 0.7.4 hive i have no problem at all. So i am running on that hive till someone can tell me why the new one doesn't work correctly.

I loaded the new dayz stuff but with the old hive and i am able to load into the game without and problem. Not sure if it matters but might be able to get by with that for a bit

Man need new hive, if you try to update to any of them listed in this thread, never loads.

Warz will blow for one reason in my mind. You can't run your own server. And when i mean you can't run your own server i mean you have to rent one from some company and have no control over some things you might want. With Dayz at least you can do that for now, if you feel like it. I wish i could pre-order the standalone dayz now so i can get it over with. If it goes on to long i will forget about it and then be like crap i should have pre-ordered it 3 weeks ago.

If you have a hero skin, your humanity goes to 0 every time you join and if you used 29 of the 30 bullets in your clip it resets it to 30 when you log out and back in. Non-hero skins don't do this however.

It happens. Desyncs and so on will cause the server in-game time to start lagging behind real time. This is part of the reason they recommend restarting the server every 4-6 hours. After about 5 hours your server will be off a good hour and a half or more. When the server restarts it then goes back to the correct time on the box and starts the whole process over again.

It would be cool if you didn't have to change the name of the server to register for posting. Can't edit a file that is in use without turning off server and back on. Means kicking 40 people just to register and post.

Lol yeah i know people are going to rage like always, But really i am asking a legit question. What do you all think about a standalone Dayz? Do you think it will be good, or bad or don't care?
