ACE mods have something called "repackaging mags" or something close that allow to merge your almost empty mags between them, this way you gain room in your inventory and you know exactly how much full clip you actually have left. no idea how difficult it is to implement this tho

if you have to go with the OP idea, do the same in the negative zone, different skin for bandit, as you could actually see a difference between an occasional PK/self defense PK and a real dangerous threat (if you could even see him before you take a bullet in the head)

i would tend to agree with you if the LOD in arma on the grass and bush wouldnt make you a red dot in a green flat plain at long range :-/ the grey/white one from the original skin was fine by me, but red is just too much red :P
