  4. WARNING DO NOT TRY ANYTHING YOU READ AT HOME. I AM NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES. I know Rocket is adding more melee weapons, but what about some melee weapons you wouldn't normally think of? Weapon 1- Tooth brush with razor blade. How to build it step one- find a tooth brush.step 2- find razor blades,step 3- find a lighter/matchs, step 4- find a form of tape or string. How to build it. take the tooth brush and remove all the bristles. Then take the razor blade and heat source and and metal the tooth brush where the bristles used to be. Once the plastic is soft carefully put the razor blade down the center of the tip. Then use the tape/string to secure the blade even tighter. And now you have a good player on player melee weapon. Best way to use it sneak up behind player and cut throat. I do not condone the use of these in real life. For any more melee weapon ideas comment down bellow.

    Thanks for the feed back and like I say, My ideas are rough ideas for Rocket and his team to decide what to do with. And code wise I think Rocket would have better ideas on how to crack it then me. But I have one decent idea, the code could be on the "owner" of the house but the owner is a zombie so you have to kill the "owner" for it. And in gear it would be like a piece of paper with a number or word on it.

    Point 1- My code is simply to me so I'll leave it at that. Point 2- The ideas I put forward are rough ideas that Rocket and his team shall decide what to do with and how to use them. But I do like the amount of comments on this topic.

    wouldn't it be cool to find in a big house or bank or any "rich" looking place a hidden compartment? The compartment's could range from a small "hole" in the wall to big wall safes that have emergency gear. Like a basic gun, meds, a map and compass. i also think that there should be rare panic rooms. Where inside is either a dead body or a zombie. And these panic rooms would be hard to find, like maybe 1 per map and very hard to find. But if you are lucky enough to find them inside is a vast amount of gear like food, water, meds, map, compass, guns like shotguns and pistols just a vast amount of good gear.

    I think that cars should have customization where you can use scrap metal not only to fix the hull, but reinforce the hull like armor, and also (If a big amount of tools is added and depending on the vehicle) the option to mount light machine guns on vehicles like Urals and so on. I also think that you should be able to make push bars for the front bumpers of all cars and have it be able to push things like washing machines and other small things out of a road and have the car not take damage and for my finial idea, CB radios. They can be found and put in any vehicles and used to for communication between players. I know that there are services like team speak, but this is just for the average gamer. And if it is used in the game, it gives other players ways to tract people talking with them. It will also have players starting to use codes like, Good Off These On Thorn Hair Animal Tiger Hole Only Used Secret Enigma. translation- Go to that house. it would provide a challenge to players. comment what you think.

    No. I think it's in every ones best interest to just keep the walking dead and DayZ separate, I like both but the ideas just shouldn't mix DayZ is it's own thing. And if it these ideas are ever used I'm rick it shall be my ricktator ship

    Locked containers the idea is fine ever hear of bandits, noobs, other players in general finding your tent or vehicle? these containers would be easier to hide and if they are heavy enough it forces a player to shot it open and risk damaging whats inside, like shooting a hole through a can of beans or soda or water, breaking a pair of binocs, breaking a pair of nvgs, breaking a sniper scope, lodging a bullet into a guns chamber, breaking a range finder, hitting explosive and blowing up, players could also booby trap the containers. Did you two ever think of the possible dangers of shooting open a container? Did you?

    No I don't want to see it, yes there would be zombie kids but this would just kill the stand alone's sales because we all know that the media would just chew the game up and spit it out saying it's, "A abomination", "A horrible thing to see in a game, even if it's a zombie game, know one in life could shoot a (say) 8 year-old child even if they are a zombie." and, "What was Mr.Hall thinking! shooting zombie kids that's just morally wrong." See my point?

    first off sorry for my bad spelling. But now I think locked containers should be in the game. How it works- You can find a premade container (metal or wood) or you can build a container by finding and using these materials, Wood container-Wood, nails/screws, hinges, hammer/screw driver, padlock/door lock, key for lock/code for padlock. Metal containers- metal, welder/electric screw driver, heavy duty screws, welder gas/electricity, generator, power cords/cables, lock/padlock, hinges. Ways to open containers without key-Wood container- Hammer it apart, (but risk damaging whats inside) pick the lock, (you need lock picking gear, what ever it would be is up to rocket) take apart the container, (screw driver, hammer to remove nails, crowbar to remove nails) bust lock off or open, blow up container/blow lock off (risk breaking/damaging whats inside), remove hinges (hammer or screw driver or crow-bar). metal container- Cut apart using welder (risk burning whats inside), screw apart using electric screw driver/hand screw driver (had screw drive takes more time, but makes less noise), pick the lock, bust lock off/open, blow container/lock open (risk destroying/breaking/damaging whats inside), remove hinges (hammer/screw driver/crow-bar). And for both wood or metal, pick up and take container (depending on size and wight) to other area. So leave a comment and tell what you think, it may sound hard to do, but once it's done you're gear is safer then in a tent, but also it is easier for the player to take container. :beans: And as bean King said you could shot a padlock off, you wouldn't want to shot built in lock because you risk damaging the containers content.

    If its head shot only then only hardcore DayZ people that have aiming down will play, it will deter the new player wanting to try it and lower standalone sales.
