Well, I did do a search, and this is the thread that came up. it was very helpful and i didn't see any others that were. You know if everyone just searched for forum help and no one created any threads this wouldn't be much of a forum would it? i'm sorry you had to deliberately go into another thread just to say that there was a similar one no offense to you personally, I'm just getting sick of people saying "USE THE SEARCH BAR" that thing is fucking useless... i don't have this PC yet but im looking at getting it and i was wondering if it would run at max settings smoothly. CPU: Intel Ivy Bridge i7 3770 ( i7 2600 replacement ) 3.4Ghz/3.9Ghz turbo core x 4 Quad Core LGA 1155 8MB Cache Super Processor. 16GB RAM GPU: Nvidia Geforce GT630 1GB and will it be able to cope with future releases for the foreseeable future?

yeah i had the same problem when i first started out just make sure you hit the residential areas, im probably already saying what everyone else is but from my experience food can seem very scarce but once you start to get a bit more established you will have more beans than you can shake a stick at! and if your lucky enough to find matches quickly then you are set. one word CHURCHES! they can spawn everything you need to get set map, compass, food, packs etc..
