Dayz sound effects SUPER LOW * please help*

I suppose its 7.1, since im using 7.1 Logitech headphones, but i dont know how to properly check that. Im also going to check if that alt tab trick in the volume mixer fixes it
  3. This is a very concerning bug for me, really weird. When i play Dayz, the sound effects ( gun shots, running, walking, etc. ) is SUPER LOW, to the point where to even hear it at all i have to turn my base windows volume to 100%, go into dayz and turn sound effects to max, and lower all the other sounds so i can even hear a little bit of in game effects. Presently, i can hear a small amount of effects, but certainly not enough to start playing. Coincidentally, another game i have called Medieval 2 Total war is also missing some sound effects to boot. I have a feeling that this issue may be caused by my sound driver or sound card, i dont know which one i have though because i looked up for sound drivers in my system information app and it said that i have AMD Audio drivers twice, then it mentioned something about USB audio ( i use a usb connected headset ), and finally Realtek HD Audio or what have you. It just seems like too much of a coincidence that the sound effects on both of these are funny and that i havent really heard of anyone having these issues with dayz or medieval 2 for that matter. Thanks for reading, looking forward to hear how to fix it
  4. Hey everyone! I recently just signed up on the day z forums primarily for this problem im having. When i go into the woods in chernarus i often get heavy amounts of white flashing and excessive amounts of bloom. If it happens for too long sometimes the screen will go go dark or have turn to blocks with purple lighting.... weird right? Heres the info -------------------------------- I bought Arma 2 CO off of steam Im running the most current patch Ive used six updater launcher and doing it the normal way, both methods result in the notorious crossfire flashing I get crossfire flashing issues. Ive searched for a fix and people say to locate the config file and turn the hdr to 16 instead of the default 32. I wanted to do this but i couldnt find the config file on the steam version! GPU: x2 crossfire HD 6850s CPU: Intel i7- 2600k @ 3.40ghz i cant find the ram but its an old 8gb tb hardrive corsair i forget the rest but im sure its more of a GPU issue win 7 premium and yeah ive tried searching threads but im stuck at the config file issue which supposedly seems like a fix
