Was gonna re-post in my last Dayz hatred fanboi filled forum, but it was closed due to lack of content; so Glitches and bugs that kill you and take your gear Hackers owning most servers Veh's and bases being stored off map Logging during PvP Tents not saving Community eating itself alive ect.. and we get dogs.. He is working on dogs still I bet we will see a REAL GOOD youtube vid about dogs, telling everyone how amazing DayZ is because it has bandits, excuse me.. dogs.. I'm sure by the time a dog loving zombie fan has a chance to see the youtube vid, rocket will take them out to better fit his vision. His or BiS now? Also, since we in ALPHA, does that mean your STAND ALONE game won't have an alpha or beta? Wizard, please tell me how you turn this mod into a standalone ? Can someone please tell me that we WONT be downloading DAYZ THE STAND ALONE *ALPHA* in 6 months and be doing this all over again? oh and PLEASE.. LAZOR GRAPHIC MY FACE MORE, Love not being able to turn some directions because of the time of day. (Not my problem, a DAYZ problem) Oh and how do people become unbanned? Dude hacked a box right in front of me while on his server ts. Said "Fuck" (did something wrong imo) and was banned.. Couldn't play for 3 days.. OH NOES!! 3 days for fucking hacking a box.. REALLY? Still with loot, chilling.. Waiting for a content to come. Didn't see the warning on the youtube vids or download link that I need to bring friends to have someone to play with for an online multiplayer game. Can't wait for that FUCKING dog, to shoot.. I don't care about gear, re-spawning, pvp or zombies.. I just want a good game with or with out dogs. Last: Also how hard is this surv sandbox? Zombies can't kill you and food/water is all over? This is like an G rated zombie movie!

Came back to DayZ after a few months to see all the progression. Took me only a few mins to see all the new and exciting stuff for the standalone. Umm? Looting beans in cars. Clothes.. That's going to be fun and game breaking... umm what else.. Oh a new jump that looks silly and is in some some mods already. Building will be lootable but he didn't say we could go inside all buildings on the map. New graphics. OH they ARNT going to use the Arma 3 eng. I didn't see that coming... Also most of the things I seemed upset were fixed by private servers. Tents not saving being a Hive issue, Non BE anti hack system. But the devblog vid looks amazing. More of the same stuff we can do in game already please. And also, Do us a favor and think about your devblog before you post shit of people not paying attention or lack of format. Your showing your true colors Mr. Everest. Where is the content that real players understand is missing. Distract 10 with lame ganking pvp. You distract people with long walks, loud zombies and beans. When will we see this "base building" and "crafting" sections? Shit even a general drawing for the math behind it. But what does Mr. Everest give us? Looking beans under tables and in cars. Now that's impressive. Let me run out to my taurus and grab the 3 cans of beans i have stashed away... wtf bad direction. Sorry about your luck man. It's nice to see such professional admin. You should be able to lock your server imo. If we can't have the tools to form a community in game, at least give us the ability out of game to protect our investment of time.

Your 100% Right. Question not answered though. So let me cube it up; Will the STAND ALONE be run on this eng? I If I start to build my house out of straw.. and switch to BRICKS half way thought; Won't my straw part make my brick part fall down? Are we going to be playing on the Arma2 Eng for years? Will we get a stand alone that uses ArmA2 eng and then wait for someone to make an ArmA3 mod? There is just no sign of a path.. just random interview after interview of no direction.

Bait.. Worked So this is a MOD, not a game.. YET; we have Rocket who wants to turn it into a game. So where is the button you press to change a mod into a game? Oh; he has to build the game still.. oh okkkk Again, sticking on TOPIC because FANBOYS get confused easily. Do we have to redo ALPHA of the standalone? Why keep using the Arma2 Eng if you know it doesn't work with your "vision" rocket? Oh; are we going to be BETA testing DayZ on ArmA3 eng? What is the development cycle. OFFTOPIC: All you people want to do is name call and rant about how great DayZ is! If people dislike it or ask core questions about the development, you try to marginalize them; and by doing so; you skipped out on your whole "its alpha" arrangement you fight to keep in your back pocket.

TRUTH TIME This MOD is almost 80% done (You noticed wood floats, others will build a boat) This is a MOD, not a stand alone game. Rockett I know you want to turn this into a stand alone but its not going to happen. Your development is slow. When your in mid beta another developer with a lot more funds and resources will announce a project like this. You must understand this; yet you act like you have all the time in the world. DayZ is nothing more then a slow call of duty with more players camping the map (The game is drowning in shallow game play and poor community) Best place to get loot in game? Elektrozavodsk off players! The high end gear is not needed for anything in the game. The AK that spawns in the police station makes you strong enough to sit in one spot and wait for a person with better gear to run by not seeing you; as you shoot him in his back and loot him. With in 20 mins you can beat this game. With in 20 mins you realize your playing 10% of ArmA and the Zombies are just a joke to get you to play this game (Assuming your zombie fans) This is a fun game, unless you want more (then its just frustrating) Rockett I think you made a short fun game. Players will enjoy this game and won't even understand why. I wish you just sat down with a pen and paper prior to starting this. I hate that your game has no direction and I wonder if you will be able to figure out what are the things it needs to survive! I think I have the answer (2 note books full of notes and design plans). #1 Problem - You thought it would be "cool" to let 15-22 year old to make the rules themselves and like there parents you didn't put in a consequence for bad behavior. #1 Answer - I know, do you? You had the bandit thing almost right; but missed on the programming triggers of it by a mile.

Being alive for over 15+ hours of game time I managed to get good loot. A DRM w/ 6 Mags, Food, Med Supplies, 2 tents, and some other goodies all in a car I found. I head into town looking for someone to chill with. No global chat, so I must be near someone to talk to them. I found one guy beside the road and I asked him to get in. He doesn't shoot for 2-3 seconds, then unloads. I spawn near my body, run back and loot myself. He took nothing from me; just the car. Did not spend 2 seconds to upgrade his AK47 or crap book bag. Just took the car and drove away. While I am not happy he did this, it was not a shock. This happens every time I get bored with having to much stuff in DayZ. I try to use EVERYTHING the sandbox has to find "friends" with no luck. Finding cars are fun, but its just a mobile tent if you can't drive it down the street looking for people. No loss, but now I'm bored with DayZ again. Time to change my name; and log behind snipers and kill them.

(So when you shoot me, and miss! I can return fire with out becoming a bandit. Ran Client side so prone to cheats, but will stop the majority of bandit survivors.. WarZ has it; why doesn't DayZ? Because THIS is hard. Let you know what other "ground braking" shit we think up :) Or what we take from bad mods with good things

So seeing a game and using what is good to make your game = bad game? I want to see 100 Zombie RPG Surv games. Since when are options a bad things? Not costing you a dime, yet you want it to do bad? 100% Agree Know why 100,000 people don't play Alphas? Because it puts a bad tint to the game that otherwise wouldn't be seen. Yeah, game is meh @ best right now. Just keep logging into sniper spots and killing them bitches :)

Had to- Or what? What can do he? Blacklist a server? He can't even stop hackers from nuking the game! This isn't WoW where the code to make everything word is locked away on the server. If he REALLY wanted to protect his game, he would have to run his own servers and hide his code so it couldn't be reversed. Kinda NOT what he is doing now eh? Understand the type of game this is, All the triggers are already done. When you fall off a ladder after climbing; its ARMAs fault.. Not DayZ/Rocketts. The only thing the server is doing is providing the AI and sending/receiving data The fact that you said he is an "antithesis" about something clearly shows your just following a crowd.
