so i was playing on uk25 under the name "[TKG] Steve Jobs".. i heard a guy sniping loads of guys at cherno so i try to track him down and find out hes on a tower. so i climb it and hes not there... i lay in wait for awhile and hear more sniper shots that are being fired from close by, i spot a guy at the fire station and take him down with my AKM.. moments later i recieve an "admin kick". upon trying to rejoin it says "Banned - Cheating/Hacking". I have never hacked in any online game in my life and have never hacked or cheated on dayz.. i had been rejoining the server all day due to getting the dreaded graphics bug which makes me unable to see and requires a full game restart to fix. Can i please get an explanation from Faz or anyone else who runs the server as to why i was banned? Cheers.

In a zombie apocalypse people would most likely do ANYTHING if it meant there own life was spared.... without PVP this game would get boring FAST... Also if you go watch the original Dawn of the dead they have "bandits" in that in the form of a biker gang and they have a gun shoot-out.. unless you have experienced a zombie apocalypse dont say "People wouldnt shoot each other in real life" because that is just plain stupid.

Ah my bad i misread the intro and thought you meant they had parked it as bait.. but yeah i see what you mean about them effectively watching the bus spawn for people coming to get in... either way great video

out of all the ideas this is by far the best..

So i logged into UK34 with my 8 or so day old character with ghillie, silenced m4 and m107 in my bag aswell as the biggest bag in game.. waiting for my buddy to join.. i see a survivor running in the distance at elektro.. so i watch as he moves at lightning speed toward me (no way he could have known i was up there as i was lying down)... he runs at me shouting on microphone so i shoot the zombie after him.. at which point he charges at me and it makes me go into first person and unable to move as he laughs on mic.. so obviously i was scared of losing my gear to this douchebag so i aborted.. joined a new server at which point i can see i am a GOAT!.. Is there any way that someone can revert me back to human.. losing my gear isnt an option.

Yeah i ended up doing the same, never realised that i could open my backpack at the time (on the dead goat). so i lost my m107.. headed to the school/office.. then a guy was stood on the hill watching me then he shot an m107.. i shot him with my m4.. (luckily he didnt alt+f4). checked his body and he had nothing but my m107 :D.. so i got all my gear back.. but then died about 10 minutes later anyway haha

im just going to hit respawn.. seeing as admins/moderators arent even replying to this so its just wasting my time.

Well the guy ran at me so i shot the zombie. then he changed me and started laughing.. i could even hear him when i was lobby saying "whats up bro?".. people who hack/cheat in games are pathetic... ive been through so much with this character that respawning isnt really an option.. ive heard of the developers moving/changing players who are stuck.

I said.. respawing isnt an option.. i have pictures of me as a goat with the gear.. but not of the hacker as i disconnected quickly.

Werewolf Wood is my irl friend and i can confirm that he doesnt cheat or anything if thats what your suspecting.. he was lay down bleeding until he died.. i was below and heard the 5 or so shots.

So... me and my buddy "Mineh Wood" made our way to the NW Airfield the other day.. nearly died along the way.. but it turned out to be totally worth the journey.. We reached the airfield and i hear him shouting "Matt! Theres a chopper... It looks like its fully working.." What follows is pretty amazing and the most luckiest day ive ever had on DayZ - (Later on in the day we found an old hatchback fully working and full of gear) :D

I never even knew they were removed.. we also noticed another flying around afterwards.

im not bluffing i have it on video.. choppers havent been taken out.. my friend wasted all the ammo unfortunatly so we didnt do any strafe runs :(

Most likely could have nabbed it without any trouble what so ever.. me and a buddy headed to the airfield earlier today.. killed a few guys on the way who tried to sneak up on us.. one alt-f4'd ¬¬.. but we got to the airfield and my buddy yells "A CHOPPER...".. we risk it, he takes a mad dash for it and basically in the end we are flying out of the airfield with a fully working chopper :D.. got it all on video too.. you should have taken the risk man.. risks are what make the game fun imo.
