BIS should let Rocket mess with the source code. Much of the bugs pre existed well before the creation of DayZ and I think DayZ Dev Team does a better job than the parent company itself. Of course the better viable option would be to transfer over to Arma 3. We'll just have to wait and see.

Yea outside in the field but at the same time like what TheMachine said, 200-300m the grass disapears and any person holding a rifle can visually snipe them via iron sights or scope.

Either way your ghillie is going to disapear due to bugs, bad hive to server connection, corrupt patches, troll bandits, etc. No use getting attached to it especially on alpha. I got a feeling when the DayZ game is completed, we'll have a fresh start again.

Just killed two bandits in ghillie suits on two seperate occasions: one tried to hide in the brushes from me and another one tried to ambush snipe me (I can see your body outline in the grass). IMO ghillies are ineffective and are only for style. Also knowing this is alpha and character wipes are the norm, once my character meets his end, I'll wait til beta to wear them again. So yeah just move your character in a bush or next to a pine tree if you want to hide from players.

You should of parked a veichle out in the open, get an AS50 and troll snipe people who gets in it. Note mine but it's pretty funny:

I think the zombie respawn time in small villages should be way slower but however in large cities like Chern & Elektro the respawn time should be faster.

Yea sorry to tell you OP but you should of shot a few bullets in his head until you saw "so and so" has died. When you shot him once you knocked him out for a short period of time (with a bleeding effect of course), when his hourglass dissapeared I'm guessing he got up and was able to kill you due to your ingame lag spike.

Bug happened to me. I tried putting my M9 SD in my backpack but it went on the ground and dissapeared. No biggie though.

1.7.2.3 94876 The hotfix worked for me. I had my ghillie suit (that I stole from a dude's tent that I randomly came across) in my inventory since 1.7.2 (about a week ago), I put it on after upgrading from 1.7.2 to 1.7.2.3 and had no problems at all during my multiple hours of gameplay. I heard that people who used the 1.7.2.2 patch leak had issues.

Hey just confirming that Ghillie works and that I didn't lose my stuff at all! Upgraded from 1.7.2 to 1.7.2.3

Hmmm gonna check how things are in the next hour.
