I also had this issue this afternoon. I don't remember seeing a broken bone icon when logging out but I wasn't paying attention. Lucky for me the server I play on was restarting not long after I woke up so I hope it is fixed when I log back in.

Funny since i have not had any trouble with this, hatchets are easy to find, silent and kill zeds in one hit. As for the zombies detection, it does make it more challenging but still not that much harder. It is pretty easy to get away from zeds now, just run though a building then hide. Also its not a game, it's an anti-game ;)

Based on the info in this damage chart: http://i.imgur.com/BuY29.jpg The SVD is only 8000 blood worth of damage, so if he was at full HP he would have have still had 4k blood. Still Alt+F4 is a cheap move.

I would have to agree that a ban for such a small things is pretty harsh. At the very most a kick with a warning is what I would expect for such language, but then I'm a bit of a potty mouth ;)

No none of what you have listed is allowed. I would suggest trying to get some proof of what you are saying with screen shots of an actual admin saying this stuff so it would make it a lot easier for devs to do something about it. Also with the side channel, they have edited the mod files to re enable it as it should not be on. A lot of servers have done this and I am not sure on the devs opinion of this but I can only guess they don't want it done since it was taken out in the first place. But yea, some screens would only make it easier for devs/who ever handles this kind of stuff.

That list does look to be a little outdated but its pretty much malicious talk, racism, hacking and I'm almost 100% sure people who ghost and Alt+F4 out of combat can also be banned.

I would rather it was changed so the primary gun could be slung like it is when you're using a pistol and then use the axe that way. Or change is so you could cycle to it like you can with gun, grenade, flare etc just change it so the axe is also included.

Server admins can only bad for a reason listed at the bottom of this thread. Banning for any other reason is not permitted by the DayZ dev team, so no he can't ban who ever he wants just because it is his server. That being said, every story has two sides and without the other half of this story the devs have nothing to go on. A quick search has pointed me towards www.10-78.com as being the clan that is responsible for US338 so I would suggest posting something in the Arma II section of their forums asking why you were banned.
