You can always convert the raw fraps video file to some MP4 format or some shit like that, quality is nice and you can upload it to youtube.

I think I would rather be killed than kill.
Vintage-Cake replied to Sushin's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
PvP is survival. If you die by the hands of a player you obviously fail at surviving. Surviving isn't just about avoiding stupid zombies, it's about not dying. Tell me, friend. How long has your current character survived? -
You have to uninstall the game and install the beta patch of your choice.

admin abuse and hacking on norway 13

This is not a valid reson to ban people. You have no right to stop PvP in the server as well. Honestly that's a pretty good fuckup that could get you blacklisted. -
It's pretty much a DMR without the high power scope. Really good.

BattlEye initialization failed
Vintage-Cake replied to Mr Geeno McGee's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
You'll have to download the newest battleye client. It's on their official website. Only the client should be enough, then remove the outdated Battleye client in your expansions folder in arma 2 arrowhead. Simple as that, hopefully -
That's just silly, i can play BF3 on high-ultra with 60fps. The problem is that some cards were pre-overclocked, and then bf3 clocked it some more making it crash. Or was that the 550ti? Yeah i think it was. You sure you picked the right card to pick on?

Can't play online... I start with no gun? 9999 ping on 90% of the servers

Your screen is blurry because of the 3D Res in the video settigs, match it with your screen res and it should go away. -
Ghillie Suit turned into Civilian clothing
Vintage-Cake replied to Kiba333's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
That was a previous version of the game. I belive it's fixed now, but suits are still broken -
In the menus of DayZ when you just launch the game, you can change or create another character. At first you'll have to create a new "person" not character. You ingame items and location will stay the same. I myself am a zombie with awesome looking sunglasses that i wear when it's nighttime. It's rather useful (Not really, because people like to shoot zombies)

Actually it could be an issue with a process on your computer, i doubt it's game related. I don't think the arma engine is known to cause any instability with networking services, but i myself bought the game just for this mod.
-
Did you run both games before trying to play DayZ? Are you using a cracked version of Arma 2 and Arma Operation Arrowhead? If not, try validating the games in steam, or if you do not use steam for this and have a retail install. Try also reinstalling both games.

Use the SixUpdater.

We don't know if it will be ported to Arma 3, most likley it will because of the overall better physics, sound, graphics and resource handling. Dude, if you bought Arma 2 and arrowhead just to be able to play DayZ, an uncompleted modification without actually playing those two. Effectivley throwing 25 euros on free content then you can probobly pay more.

1+. I like it.
