Nice work, fps has improved from ~15 or less to 22-24 near cherno skyscraper, so its kind of playable. Zombies seem to be a bit laggy/slow but they hit hard and are plenty. I could reload while using alcohol on my wounds, and it feels like too much weapon cleaning kits spawn. Also when i was like 100-200 m away from zombies and was eating and cleaning my wounds i constantly dragged new zombies to me. -
Do we have dogs in this alpha yet ?

He did not say that. Everybody that thinks that way interpretes him wrong. I hope he will clear that up himself! But i am sure he meant it in a bigger meaning like for example if you think a FPS cant make for the perfect Multiplayer experience, that doesnt mean that an FPS can not be enjoyable, bugfree and complete. But clearly he is looking for something different that only he has the ideas for. I am very much looking forward to his next projects, after Dayz is finished. This is not Warz, these are people with values, it is not a cash grab, we will get our game! -

Thanks man, but the combat was laggy since the beginning of the alpha, what are you talking about? Surely compared to FPS but also to dayz mod, which was at least enjoyable. we hope and wait! -

I went to electro and a guy ran at me while i was looting a building. it was so laggy he hit me with his axe and i ran away. i tried to fight him indoor, but the combat is so incredibly laggy, it is heartbreaking. what a dick too, well i ate all my food before he got me. sadly my internet collapsed while we where fighting at that point. (alot internet problems past days) so at least i hit him once or twice. i reconnected but it said i have to wait 90 seconds or so and reconnect again. what looked like combatlogging for him, it surely wasnt ! so i wont be playing for some time now. -

So its a debug feature? I am more than glad to hear that. I always thought you maybe have a debug console of some sort to do stuff like that. And why the text wasnt enough... i dont understand. I guess nobody really prepares you to do experimental branch testing. (here is me thinking basic and c++ in school prepared me a bit) Keep up the good work PS: I experienced some rubberbanding at the first 5-10 minutes of my session. -

Crafting: Cannot chamber/load magazine with ruined ammunition You should definately be able to load a magazine that has ruined ammunition in it, maybe not a ruined mag, but there is no difference in knowing what is ruined currently? -

There is always a downside to everything. But the combatlogging ist WORSE! One Thing is true, that servers are not stable, and i wonder if you get a penalty if the server goes down over and over again. Havent played in a while though. -

Login: When players logout, their avatar sits on ground for 30 seconds. Players must make sure they logout somewhere safe So does that mean when one carefully choose one's logoff point but someone stumbles upon or stalks one - he is fucked?? Or do you have to wait in menue with option to abort and maybe even look around? -

As far as i understand it alot of servers have been or are being fixed. If you load into one that is not fixed you will spawn fresh, but you can disconnect and find one where you spawn with your normal character and all is good. correct me if i am wrong, because i havent played myself. -

He seemed to be in a very creative mood, maybe influenced by a after work beer(or so....) So i wouldnt analyse it too much. Also keep in mind that his job is to make the game(with others), not to play the game. So please stop worrying with everything he does, its gonna be fine! He also said pen and paper are working like they did early, but now they are bugged in 557 and before even. It's gonna get fixed sooner or later. Remember that normally you would not even see this game without the early access. -

forget the physics engine, it will come to the experimental but it might not get it to the regular patch. also be aware that when rocket talks about the future, nobody can forsee the future. also it was a very casual chat. -

Spray in your ammo, that's creative :) I dont even understand why such bugs come up the way they do. But i would like to understand it. In theorie i would say set a property of the mag to color xy. done. but it feels like it just creates a new item and replaces it with the old and doesnt get the other properties right. -

Not only that, but the character whipes are very rare i must say. the first database wipe you announced even didnt erase my character at the time!!! -

Ok so somethings up. 1) Servers not connecting to hive 2) Dean says its the hosters fault 3) Hosters say its deans fault 4) Dayzdevteam says on twitter: Tomorrow at 10am GMT the Hive Database will be undergoing maintenance for roughly two hours. Sorry for the inconvenience. GO FIGURE ?!?! I dont mind it not working correctly i dont mind my character may be deleted I mind blamegames
