Yesterday i updated to the experimental version of 557, and it used a different cfg for my settings. After that i reverted back to normal which is also now the 557 but it wont convert back to my original configuration/ingamename/keybindings. Anyone know how to fix that? -

I played the experimental for around 3 hours on a 50 person server(one life). Found only minor bugs, which i reported. The FPS was at times terrible, a little worse than before. Coming from the East near elektro it dropped to 16 fps just looking into the city direction ( compared to 30-40 fps in low building areas). Near cherno at the big skycrapers it dropped to 10 fps. All with medium to low settings. My System: i5 Radeon 7770 8gb SSD 30" 2560x1600 Will this get better? PS: There is still a little rubberbanding once in a while -

Thats why i love Bean Kings' animation. Spawn situation will dramatically change if loot respawns, and there is plenty of experience on Deans side from the Mod. -

2 passworded server ^^ thats kind of funny. discouraging to say the least -
you can forcefeed none handcuffed people, they only have to stay still while doing it. Normally you cant go though peoples backpack when they are not handcuffed/unconcious though. maybe a bug cause the guy restrained him before...?

This might be only on 24/7 daylight servers. Set your clouds to off, and you dont have the freezes anymore for now. -
Several days without a patch, there is probably a big one on the way! :)

When the Server start to respawn loot without restarting it, the combat logging should also prevent the server hopping a bit. These days server restart too often, and sometimes you find yourself in a barracks. But looking for a emty server after the other is pathetic...

Ghost walking is just simply unethical gaming. But there will be a fix for that, just wait. its just too early in the alpa to implement it. the devs are aware of it. Disconnecting and reconnecting is not a valid way of fighting, it has nothing to do with "they did everything to win". Unless you think bank robbery is a valid way of getting money. -

That is why they need to hire some REALLY good People with all that money. The ones that made Arma3 for example. But i bet Dean looked into it already. In my opinion Dayz could be a new tripple A Title, There is so much that still can be done. I still think Dayz should have been developed on the Arma 3 engine. That said, I'd love to see more stuff from A3 coming in like the stance system. Cant everybody from Arma3 come and work on Dayz PLEASE :D -

You better play something else, this is alpa. also, OPEN YOUR EYES SERVER SAY "3DPP:OFF" its not hard to spot if you sort by ping and go through the list. But yeah, it should be searchable, cant put 3DPP:OFF into the host string, won't work. -

hahahaha but in all seriousness, cherno/elektro is dead. balota is too much of a hot spot. i would advise to at least bring the military tents in cherno back.

I've seen a hacker on a twitch stream that tp to the streamer.. but the unconcius thing is strange. the only spawn that is north is the one at novy sobor by the way. and its not very likely. -

the respawn next to you after dying was a confirmed bug of the game, which many people had. So no Hack there. The m4 can be very inacurate for no reason, maybe you just missed. Might be because of lags too. its a alpha!!! Drink some desinfection spray PLEASE!!! (in game of course)

When I started only 2-3 month after the Dayz Mod was born, i got craped upon. By Zombies and also by Players. Everybody had a Pistol then, and you could not get out of Cherno with loot alive. What i am saying is this: Deal with it. Dayz ist hard. You'll figure it out and go hunting bandits someday, son ;)
