Just fix your port forwarding settings. Server behind NAT works fine.

People will just go and suicide on zombies now. Useless change.

[DayZ v1.7.2.2/94945] Server error: Player without identity
tetra replied to facoptere's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
I get the identical, persistent error message since today with 94700, 94876 in combination with 1.7.2, 1.7.21, 1.7.2.2/3. Tried everything, nothing works. Every time the same error. Though earlier today it was not "FUCK" in the debug output but something like "OH NO, CLEANUP SCRIPT.." -
Server now says: instead of: Awesome fix  :P

DayZ_Server file - where do I get this?
tetra replied to Zoop's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
It's contained in the hive download. Look at the addon folder. -
Exactly the same error as facoptere gets on my server. Tried both hive versions.

I updated with SixLauncher and then manually copied the 1.7.1.2 files. Launching with %_ARMA2OAPATH%\Expansion\beta\ARMA2OA.exe" "-mod=%_ARMA2PATH%;EXPANSION;ca;@DayZ" "-mod=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion" -nosplash -cpuCount=2 -exThreads=7 %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9 The server also requires you to install the latest ArmA beta patch.

Server I am playing on with 1.7.2.1: DE 229 - works pretty well here with 94700 beta patch.

1.7.2 SERVERS CRASHING EVERY 5 MIN
tetra replied to TR1GGA187's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
After updating my server to 1.7.2 I noticed there may be something wrong. There are heavy CPU and network I/O spikes occurring at the same time. I did some investigation and figured out that it *MAY* be connected to something strange: Whenever a player looks around with ALT pressed and a gun equipped (tested in 3rd person) the network and CPU I/O exponentially spikes. May this be related to the new ammo tracking code? I don't know... Just wanted to let you know. PS: I did lock the server for some minutes to verify this without too much background noise. Neither was anyone harmed doing this nor did I benefit in any way. ;)
