so tonight was an interesting evening in chernarus.My friend and I have decided to camp up sniper hill in elektro and see if we could pick off any snipers taking pot shots at people in the town. within 5 minutes we had our first victim..so we both fire a volley at him and he logs off typical.About 5 minutes later my friend asks me if i ammoving up the left side of the hill..nope turns out our friend had hopped servers and was attemping to ghost us lol he got within 30m and got a clip to the face.unlucky Marcel..so we loot his stuff and find not only did we kill a sniper noob but a duping sniper noob.rangefinder svd camo with 3 mags nvg m249 u get the idea.Shame to leave it all so we helped ourselves while doing this mr sniper appeared behind us and blasts us both..sad days.so i respawn in drakon and just wonder if i can get anything back.as i respawn i see he got killed again lol. so i run with no regard for life to see if he hid the body or left in place.get there and hear the flys and low and behold my shit is still in place i grab what i can and get 90% of it back fucker took my antibiotics though.so we decide to try another server before our friend comes back. on log in we hear the tell tale sign of a firefight after a look about we find 6 bodies and then we score jackpot all 6 are heavily armed to the teeth and fully geared so we are both now running about fully geared and looking for trouble.A good day in the apocolypse.snipers beware we's a comin for ya.

it is happeneing to me all over the place any town or village i try to enter and it just goes triangle to face herp no u can't look 3 feet in front of u look at the floor damn it. last night it did actually play ok then we got server bombed by a hacker and me and my m8 died after 17 days alive sucked but then we realised we were free to do dumb stuff like benny hill zombies about and run into cherno/electro and let snipers waste ammo trying to shoot us of course arrived in cherno and triangles of doom.Takes alot to get me wound up with games i know these guys are working really hard but something like this.. really? release the patch with the graphics fix everything else can quite frankly wait. After all how are supposed to test it if we can't play it? and as for being butt hurt about not being able to loot stary/nw/ne fields never been to them i normally die in a fire long before i get the required gear to even think about heading that way.

love my lee and it takes alot for me to drop it for something else. I've not had a chance to shoot it at another player yet since it's been "adjusted" but even without a one hit kill i'm figuring even if i get a a good hit in. There is a good chance i am going to knock you on your arse and finish u with the second. I have had some extremely good shots with this rifle in the past.One poor sucker got it in the head at 300m dream shot wouldn't be able to do that again but yeah love my lee.

so after suvriving for a week i'm still lacking some vital equipment for my survival escapades,I find myself a little low on blood running out of food and sodas,I decide to head north rather then heading south to the shit holes that are elektro and cherno.Polana was my intended destination i notice it has a supermarket and really is in the middle of nowere miles from any spawn point noones going to go there right? so i take my trusty compass(found it my first day this thing is by far my most treasured posession)and head up north i get to polana with little trouble and find a completely unlooted town every were i go i find top flight gear maps,matches,hunting knives,alice packs food sodas guns ammo u name this little town has spawned it for me. so i am now fairly well kitted out it's 3 am and i have to work in 4 hours.Log off just outside the town.In the meantime i get a message from a mate of mine who has finally added me on skype(never used it before dayz vent or ts3 normally)so we get chatting and i tell his useless ass to log into dayz so i have a friendly to play with instead of just getting shot at everytime i see someone. he respawns and heads off to meet me he has a pretty epic journey as we are talking turns out when he reaches to palce we have agreed to meet up his legs are broke no food/water 1200 blood and in generally piss poor shape,we log off and decide to pick it up another day. long story short i hook up with him patch him up and we head off.Playing this game with friends really does open the wonderful game up even more i do have to say. So we decide to head to berezino it has what looks like some nice locations.We are a little concerned as it looks extremely open and a snipers wet dream but decide fuck it in for a penny. We get there have a look around.and we hit the mother load we now both have EVERYTHING we need to survive.i got a lee(i do love this gun even though it makesa racket) him a winnie loads of ammo food meds water sidearms ammo plus our tool belts are full.while we are congratlating our selves we hear something that makes us both just hit the dirt...a car..this could go south very quickly.We decide to see if we can get eyes on and kill the guy take his ride (we really didn't want to be shoot on sight assholes but if u can't beat em etc) and besides it's a car ask yourself would u jack the guy given the chance?We failed he gassed it up and buggered off not even stopping within the city limits. so to the real point of this post How busy is berezino do people actually make and effort to raid this place or mainly stick to the north west area and stary after moving off the coast? from what i have seen hardly anybody comes here i have been on full servers and come up to the place to find it completely intact stuffed to gills with loot. do people see it as to much hassle to get to or just to open? i'm intrigued to get other peoples assessment of the place.Cherno and Elektro are now dead to me never stepping foot in those shit holes again.

so i was reading this thread earlier tonight and it had me thinking.I have made desision to try and not be a sociapathic numbnut in this game but it is proving very difficult.Which leads me to my first story of murder in the land of the dead. tonight i spawned in the middle of cherno...SCORE u might think now imagine being in the middle of cherno with nothing at all.So i find a makarov and 4 or 5 mags some food, drinks, compass, hunting knife, water bottle and matches.after very carefully moving to another building i find an enfield and 3 mags.deciding to not get greedy and cut my losses i head north (i know this cause now i have a compass ;) ) so i am moving along the northern treeline when all of a sudden i hear ping crack..Bugger me someones shooting at me cheeky barstard. I zig zag like a madman i have no idea were the shots are coming from but thankfully he's a terrible shot 8-10 rounds later i make it to a tree line and relative safety.i get to pridorodky near the 3 barns and decide to stop and see if my shadow is actually following me or has given it up a a bad job. i leave it a couple of minutes just as i am about to move on my friend pops out at the bottom of the hill about 300m away he's going towards the barns maybe he thinks i was silly enough to try and loot them.Maybe it wasn't even him at this point i wasn't asking.so i let him go into the barn and see what he does 2 minutes later he steps into the door way.Ironsights up 300m's shot 1 round and he goes down like a sack of potatos.Wish I had frapsed it tbh bloody amazing shot :lol: Do i regret killing him? Little bit but it was clear he had every intension of taking my :beans: and :emptycan: off my cold dead body so better him then me. i didn't enjoy doing it.Anyother game eve online, cod, bf3 etc and i would have been howling but with dayz i actually felt a bit of remorse. So if anyone happens to run into me along the road and I yell friendly while running around waggling my shoulders I'M NOT GOING TO SHOOT U :P As for the op u did the right thing he was after your beans mate plain and simple.
