Teach (DayZ)

For now atleast the Z's can only walk indoors, so if you have some on you, it's advised to run through buildings, same thing applies to high hills and pinetrees. Also, the best two places to gear up as a fresh spawn are Chernogorsk and Elektrozavodsk. What you are looking for there are fire stations, pubs, supermarkets, industrial sites/warehouses. The Z's can feel overwhelming at first, but once you get used to them, you can just ignore them most of the time. edit: Darnit Furry, you got the gold.

So tonight I had the most effed up dream ever. So I was just at the Olympic stadium watching a football (soccer to Americans) match, it was Argentina vs Spain and for some reason Lionel Messi was there and he couldn't get a goal no matter how hard he tried. Suddenly I hear gunfire and everyone in the stadium starts panicking, for a while I hide behind one of the seats and these 4 guys just pass me, they are all merry and are just repeatedly singing "We are the bandits" with a happy tone. At this point i am bloody panicking but I manage to sneak a peek. I see two guys with ghillie suit (low-res just like in my DayZ), a survivor and a guy with a turban just like in DayZ. So one of them spots me and just starts spraying while he sings, I of course panic even more and the first reaction to it is to alt+f4 but I just couldn't find the right buttons. Finally though after taking a hit I find the right button combination and manage to bail out of there using alt+f4. So in short, I just used alt+f4 to bail from my own bloody dream.

A bug hands down. As much as it sucks, it's still better than giving a hacker the sick pleasure they seem to get from killing you.

Yeah, I've had quite a few dreams about DayZ but before last night they were very unclear and I hardly remembered them after waking up. Oh and cheers everyone for the beans :)

There are SUPPOSED to be hundreds of posts like these. In a working community, the more pressure you put on the developers, the more likely they are to do something about it.

You do make a valid point about not knowing if it belongs or not. My question is though; now that you do know, what do you intend to do with the weapon?

Let me get this straight, I never alt-f4 out of combat. And as a medic I even punish for that. The dream just reflects DayZ in its entirety :D

In my opinion by using the hacked weapons is almost as bad as spawning them in yourself. If I see a tent/vehicle or a player with one, even as being a medic I do everything I can do dispose of them (Yes, including murder).

I have been called worse :D And damnit, you got my hopes up, that sounded like a fantastic combination!

Some of the servers seem to be working again, it appears they have reverted the update.

This is happening to everyone, it is because of the BE server update. All we can do now is wait it out.

There are other posts like this, it seems to be an issue with the latest BE server update. Atleast 20-30 different servers are reporting the same issue with a different # number, but the problem remains the same. All we can do now is wait it out.

BattlEye: Enabling hackers and mucking things up for the common folk since (Enter year here)

It's because of the new BattlEye update, the reason some servers are still playable is because they haven't had the rolling update yet. I am sure BE will fix this issue in no time. (Atleast that is what I think it is, we had 5 people seeing "battleye initialized" "battleye is up to date" just before we got kicked.)

Alright, I should've taken a closer look at the topics as there already is one reporting this bug. And thanks for the responses

Just add what your situation is (ie. are you bleeding out, do you have broken legs, how much blood etc) and a medic will contact you if one is near your area, it's also good to add your steamid or skypeid to make things easier
