what people don't get is if you have a short period of time to play once is bad enough but if a issue arises and it happens more than once you literally just ate up valuable play time. it is too long. who the hell wants to sit looking at a blank black screen for 8 minutes at a time. im all for the game but some people are just too loyal in support sometimes :lol: i once joined server game crashed , first limit started then for some reason server crashed then game crashed shortly after again. spent over 10 minutes for no real reason other than game was not stable and a silly timer is too long. there are better ways of dealing with ghosters , devs need to find them.

it looks as good as standalone has none of the fps issues of sa. if its same code how can breaking point have 200 zombies infront of you but SA cant ?

break it down simple. Dayz mod is better to play at moment than SA. Dayz SA has nothing much in it not worth buying yet not until christmas ARMA 3 + Mods are way beyond both . so in short if you want as much fun as possible play the mod or buy arma 3 and play the free zombie mods like breaking point. until christmas when this maybe somewhere nearr the mod it terms of content.

no it is simple. you used the wrong engine. you should of gone with arma 3. what is better with your current set up/engine choice for SA ? you are producing stuff witha 40 man team slower than modders using a better engine ! BIs own better engine ! if i play Dayz SA now and play a zombie mod on arma 3 its very obvious the ones on the arma 3 are better. they look better, play better. there must be a reason for using a worse engine when they had arma 3 to use why not use the arma 3 engine? it puzzles me. arma 3 was out before SA so its not like you can say it wasnt available.so say the team started the project on arma 3 at same time arma 3 was available it would still take the same timeframe would it not ? so why would you not use it ? i am actually interested in why you would use a worse engine if the other engine was available and better optimized ? is it a money thing ?

night wont ever work as more people prefer light as its easier to play. also server rankings mean server admins will keep servers 24/7 light or just restart as dark to cater for populairty and keep the rankings highest.

some people understand how alpha works some people dont and rage some people understand how alpha works and rage because they see not enough content work is being done some people get fed up of excuses some people are happy with how it is and havent played the mod some people have palyed the mod think SA is just a let down/cash in some people just enjoy games whatever happens some people dont and just watching the world burn some people just want.......

they do seem to communicate often via many media outlets be it reddit or twitter or any other place but its not that im bothered about its the actual content and lack of it. by content i mean getting the core stuff done instead of making meaningless objects like hats and more jeans vests. i uninstalled the game about a month ago after playing breaking point because its simply better than this game now. thats a free mod on arma 3. how can that be even possible ? 30-40 million in bank and they cant get things like vehicles and base building done yet free modders have all this stuff done in weeks, yet a 40 man team are still making hats !!! dayz Sa is just a cash in for what was good which is the mod. i dont mind paying for that fun i had it was awesome but this project already too late on a bad engine and now going to be succeeded by others who do it for free or maybe the evil that is sony with H1Z1. such a shame. simple fact is Datz SA should of been made on ARMA 3 engine should of had a team like its got now at the start and they would of had the game done by now . its 2 years late. now sony are going to come in scoop up all the glory cause the people behind the scenes couldnt work out what needed to be done. poor planning maybe restricted by people who knows but the ball was dropped on the gameplay side. you can scream all about sales whether it be 2 million or whatever but the only reason those 2 million brought the SA was because of the mod !! if the mod wasnt out before hand you would of sold 100,000 copies with this current game. so now H1Z1 is going to come in along with free arma 3 mods and scoop up finish what should of been Dayz glory on pc. such a shame .

crossbow should have ten arrows have a range of 30-50m max. reload should be slow after firing. only game i seen that does it right is thehunter.

so you picked the weakest point of one video. in breaking point as i said upto 100 maybe more in thirsk chasing after you. yes they damage you aswell. will you ever get that many chasing you in dayz ? if so you still have to wait for how many months ?

tbh its the best mod of what people want at this very moment. zombies chase you follow you there can be like a hundred after you sometimes. all vehicles in all guns in loot respawns on a better engine. so how is it waste of bandwidth ? by this logic dayz is unplayable :lol: less content in with more bugs and slower production. if you want to know what mods will do you just look at the mod itsself. whatever we cant have in SA at moment is the very first things modded in. this is why mods on Arma 3 are really getting a hold at the moment is because dayz isnt progressing where as they are on arma 3. 2017 breaking point Altis life wastelands survival games Dayz look at those ! then you wonder why Dayz SA is still just plodding along. while SA is trying to catch up the mods above have done and going on way beyond what we waiting for. its just a catch up 24/7 which standaline isnt catching up. atleast BI are happy because they cant lose ! arma 3 sales go up SA is still selling dean has his money so doesnt matter how SA goes now as all parties are paid up and can do whatever they want.

at end of dayz its irrelivant to us. the project is still to slow even with 40 people working on it, i see dayz SA as a cash in for all the fun i had on the free mod. so the 20 quid i paid has been for the dayz original mod the SA is quite frankly a joke. free arma 3 mods doing stuff better than dayz sa with less people and better content. the funny thing is the game was supposed to be a STANDALONE game but come december mods will be in this game making it exactly the same as the free mod all over again. so it was just a sales event.

it is that simple devs made the wrong choice on the engine to use. the very fact that people are doing what the devs arnt for free on mods like breaking point and use arma 3 engine makes you just laugh inside. look respawns 100s zombies. why didnt the dev team just sue arma 3 ? actually rapes my mind. all the stuff we wait for in SA is already done and working in breaking point and other mods being done and are free. hopping is mainly being done because the loot respawn is screwed. Dayz is plaing catch up but the thing is the more it tries to catch up with stuff already out its losing even more ground. this is what melts my brain as there are so many supposedly working on it.

he doesnt hack just plays with the admins in the mod. so set up scenario, they spawn him in gear . obviously admins have 3d tools show people where others are . so no need to hack cheat when admins can do whatever a cheat does anyway. this is why big youtubers dont do much on SA cause it requires too much time and admins havent got the powers/tools yet ;) as soon as mods and tools are added to this game (which is bollox) then youll see him and all the other youtubers oh look at this base we just found with every gun by chance :lol: happen all over again. frankle videos are set up just like the others are but they do entertain and that is what they are for .

look at the original idea of why a SA game was to be made ;) it was to get away from the very thing that the mod ended up being. so people jumped on board brought into the idea only for shortly into the project the exact same thing is going to happen as the mod ! thats just basically made this project a cash cow for BI. its not gone the way as first said its just going to open the doors to the masses. if they were going to open it up to modding why even make Sa in first place ? when you have the mod for free? you know why money. all thats going to happen now is well end up with a prettier version of the mod with the exact same stuff as the mod slightly different and paid for for it. its not the original idea of a surivival game that many hoped. just wait when modding happens. remember what i said. admin tools just like mod watching you 24/7 while you play spawn gear in teleporting to you or whereever they want and selling gear packages. dayz sa made its money now it doesnt matter if mods in it cause they got the money on to pastures new.

whole point of the SA was to make a solid standalone game (its in the name lol) with adding mods all the stuff people didnt want is now going to be the very first tihngs done with modding. so 1000 car servers galore pay donations to recieve gear. utter joke tbh.

yep sadly the main reason i brought the SA was do to the admn based powers wouldnt have an effect on how we play. i should of realized this was never going to stop and the very same admin abuse will return as soon as modding happens . oh well. other projects have taken steps to stop it and ill stick to those when it does happen. its annoying when the dev team could stop it totally from ever happening but wont for the sake of pressure from the very people who mostly likely do exactly what im talking about.

because once one does it becomes popular server owners see a drop on theur server so follow suit. so yes it does effect all. what starts out as 100 percent vanilla end up being 5 percent of servers left. rest just become buy as you win donation for gear.
