public servers in standalone are locked down. private servers would be nice and this is where most dayz players will be. yes i have run a few dayz servers and have one at moment so yes i do know about private servers.

difference is in dayz it isnt a instant respawn shoot the other guy it can takes days to get your gear back on fix find a heli and so on. if you arnt going to stop admins abusing this whats the point in even playing dayz? login server admin has just given himself everything as soon as games released needs blood just drops in bakc pack shit dont stop. infact why even ban hackers they just doing what admin can do but they get banned ! its comedy gold if this isnt sorted really is. admin can spawn guns in player does it has to buy new game :rolleyes: i dont like cheaters but how can you ban one guy from doing it and then let the other guy do it just cause he is admin that is retarded ! true private servers have given life to the mod and added life to what was becoming tedius but the whole backbone of the game based around looting is a utter joke if the devs dont stop this bs. imagine standalone comes out, few months public hives only and admins cant do this but no custom content comes on public so after short while private hives pop up so everyone jumps on them cause its different like now and guess what admins just take the piss and it continues forever. majority of players will stick to private servers due to the content and basically admins just carry on cheating. infact a notice to all cheaters dont buy cheats just rent a server with a few hackers friends it will work out cheaper and youll never get banned :rolleyes: . how stupid is that ! its cheaper to cheat legit than buy a private hack and cheat . and no comebacks. sort it out.

so basically if you own a private server you can legit hack 24/7 nothing to be done. oh well no point playing on private servers now. will this be same in standalone? i know in the standalone public servers they will be locked down so admin cant abuse there powers.

so you want the admins to basically continue to carry on legit hacking? i dont have the answers im not involved in making the game fairer or better thats why i aksed the people who do have this access. you can either stop this or not stop it. thing is you could stop it but i think its just gunna be hey they private servers let em hack this video sums up exactly what happens in most servers on dayz. !so basically rent your own server instant win ! dont let them have this power. simple.

this needs to be sorted patched out so admins cant abuse this . sorry every server ive played on in length always shows the admins do abuse thier power. no admins should have this kind of legit hacking ability. in standalone it will probably be sorted for few months until private servers are available then it will be back to admins got 6 helis and 8 dmrs every respawn :rolleyes: please dev team sort this out and stop this bs.

R4Z0R49 lock the admin stuff down so they cant spawn gear in and see where you are on map. many servers come with these tools and the admins use them while they play so can track you live all over the map! what is the whole point in dayz if admins have this power? they basically have legit hacking powers.

the makrov on spawn will just not be used for zombies at all. basically what will happen is you spawn guy probably close pops u in head with makarov takes your mag doubles up runs off. sees zombies just creeps buy or runs straight through them . they arnt going to sit and fight zombies for no reason with makrov. im glad about the big snipers being more rare and mostly unskilled people use them or admins any way after they spawn one in for themselves. is there any plans for stopping pay to win servers ? many private servers use this approach to cover costs :rolleyes: selling custom load outs to players who donate . this alone breaks dayz. would be nice if it was patched out.

all those saying the makrov is useless for shooting things are you lbind when firing ? all it takes is a good shot one shot straight down :rolleyes: looks like some great changes. my next dream is for all loot and admin stuff to be locked so no admin abuse can happen. this is as bad as hacking in many servers and would be great if solved now before standalone release. also many server aadmins have real time maps showing where everything is. there must be a way of stopping this . thanks.

too many are charging to get as50 on respawn to cover server costs :rolleyes: . i prefer simple dayz myself . all snipers and stupid stuff should just be took out.

what game makers need to remember is there is devs way of thinking something is good and then there is gamers view. post processing shouldn't even be included its utter dogshit. why many even add half of these graphical features is a mystery. most make the game look worse than when there off. most are used to hide or make things blurry or to not make things just look boring (bf3 prime eg with no blue filter on ) people who game often just want a clean looking game not a wiping the screen cause it looks like it has Vaseline on :lol: .

okay rather than mentioned said servers it the rules im more concerned about . alot of abuse can be done in private servers and because they are private they just laugh and say we are private go suck it ! its still part of this game and public servers can get black listed so wh not public servers for abuse. infact most of the abuse is in private servers . can this be added to standalone if it happens. now before the we dont abuse rules for as many dont there is that do. so those playing by fair rules wont be effected will they . can selling weapons be added to this aswell . like one server i was looking at 65 man server they charge twenty dollars a month ! to give snipers on re spawn. this is a joke just because you are private doesn't give you the right to fleece people for what is already in the game ! set up a few busy servers and you minted for this abuse ! as said before this isnt a few doing this there are hundreds of servers doing this now. so in short treat all servers private or public with same rules any abuse the server is blacklisted. if you dont abuse the server will be fine. so what s the problem.

no what you dont seem to understand is you do not own the content ! you own nothing ! you are charging people for things you dont own ! the people who own the materials being sold are bi not you . all you do is pay for rental of a server and that is all. so yes if it is wanted then server owners should get 0 because you own nothing you didnt create anything its in the game all you did was give people items that arnt yours to sell. if any money is to be made bi should get it not you.

so what happens if everyone adopts the pay to win spawn gear ? what server you jump to ? just saying join a different server isnt a way to solve the problem. it is simply a way of of avoiding the issues.

no you fail to get the bigger point . once people get used to paying for weapons on one server then another does it and it snow balls. it is quite common now in a few more months it will be even more common practice. what you are doing by selling guns is literally the same as cheating for your own profit. this is bs and wasnt a planned event in the game. 65 man server full all day with people donating how is that covering server costs thats making you money not covering costs you are profiteering from abusing game mechanics and then using the im private you cant touche me ! go joining another server will work in short time but the simple thing is as more do it it will slowly ruin what the game was all about . ask for donations but giving game altering advantages is a sale and you dont own the merchandise !
