tbh why ? it maybe a old build but people can get a feel of what it maybe about. some things did worry me in the video and some made me laugh so hard at how bad they were. some people dont like videos early shown cause one it isnt how the game has progressed or the game is just crap. im hoping its because it has moved on and solved the many stupid things that were in that video. but.... a few things that i know would not be removed is the arma 3 type movements and animations which quite franklly are worse than arma 2 and whoever animated that stuff needs to have a word with themselves. for eg i dl arma 3 played it sat there stunned how console type in movements and how feel about it. i dont want to login to a brand new standalone and get that arma 3 feel. cause it instantly hits home that its bad really does. some people may like arma 3 i dont. i guess well see soon as there is no way in hell they arnt going to release the public version of this starting in june. it will be this month and we will see in 7 days if that video leaked was true and if dayz standalone does indeed suck ass or is good. role on e3. june 11th.

it says on the e3 page when they on they will show you standalone and bf4 sucks ass is just a reskinned bf3 and ghosts every body hates cod whether good or bad. so bring on dayz standalone and lets get playing by end of this month.

it is from minecraft or similar. dean has mentioned many times minecraft type this or that. its a grreat sales platform type game and probably why they produced a similar version. has seen a few similar type ui in recent games i play and most go with minecraft style becuase of its success. i still say the actual original one is better on the eyes and probably to use . if they added that people would just say wtf have you been doing all this time and why should i pay money for something that was free ? in my honest op it looks like something you would use with windows 8 and everyone knows about win 8 it sucks ass ! all the new developers like square boxes bla blah its so stream lined and what happened most hate it :lol: on platforms that it is useful like touch screen crap maybe but on big pcs just garbage. functionality first then design after. also must say please dont include that dale winton gay jump i have seen :lol:

this is my number one reason for being happy . no more admin abuse , checking postions , stealing duping loot for themselves. hopefully that is kept under lock and key even when they start to mod it.

you are living in a deluded bubble the amount of money this will generate on consoles is massive it will be on the consoles guarenteed. there are articles aswell saying this.the new consoles are basically pcs anyway they just play on joypads. so all that will probably be different is the way they access items and such .

this is in a few games and isnt new S.t.a.l.k.e.r really brought this idea to life. just whatever you do dont add the black out screens people are trying in latest epoch so annoying . basically when you run a small anount of time your screen as you tire starts faading eventually going black if you totally exuasted. thing is people just log to get rid of it . th inventory system is just a edit of the minecraft model.

wont happen close thread. people with low spec pcs need lower setting also it needs to run on consoles comfortably when it comes out on them when released.

if you get arma 2 and arma 3 most would probably play arma 2 you have weird movements awkard leans silly aiming the whole feel is just wrong (it is in early stages ) look on steam who playing it ? hardly any . when i fired up arma 3 i was devistated at how bad it is . i love arma 2 and i can run arma 3 maxxed no problems with high fps but its whole feel is bad. this is why i hoped they wouldnt use the movements and such in dayz standalone judging by leaked standalone footage it looks as if the very same movements and such are indeed used. arma 3 seems more aimed at console type people and the way the ui and inventory and stuff is set out it kinda feels consoley. thats my op others maynot agree. i lvoe dayz play it everyday but some stuff i just dont like about the standalone i hope im wrong.

dont want to argue but you can tell its using the arma 3 animations and such and they suck ass. i understand why but the movements and such are terrible and arma 2 are actually better. have you played arma 3 ?

dont add other snipers ! whats the point in that oh look the people who dont move or who dupe there gear are mad cause they cant kill anyone moving only lying on there belly. that is 90 percent of people who use the big snipers. take them out the game will be alot more fun fluid exciting fair. also who goes in a shed or small anywhere and finds a m107 army sniper or in a tent please... dont go weak on this. stick to the plan and take em out. only guns you would actually ever find is ww2 rifles and odd sniper type gun and pistols and shotguns. so make it like this.

i must say i actually prefer the older inventory we use in the mod now .it looks a bit like its made for a xbox 360 or something. also from the leaked footage going about from what i seen it looks like alot of stuff is from arma 3 which quite frankly sucks ass. the movements are bad animations are odd. arma 2 actually suits the mod better. i guess well have to wait and see how it turns out.

i thought he said though it would be cheaper at the start ? if its £20.00 to be a alpha tester how much will it cost after alpha :o . if it is very early in 9.99 to 15 quid seems reasonable . its not really arma 3 is it its a mod .

simples most things now will be saved for e3 why would you take away from your hype for e3 ? you wouldnt so a release will be after e3. look forward to trying the public alpha. i predict a public release just after e3 and some big server load testing .

probably just the people hiring out the same equipment for a fee and filming it. probably a way to offset the expense of it.

what so many dont get is its becoming the normal to charge people for doing so. 1 busy server does it so another does becuase it fills your pockets. imagine a busy 60 man server full allday 24/7 it becomes like a business not a game. it makess a joke out of the game. cant wait for standalone to come and squash this shit as everything will be locked and fair play and sense will prevail for a while.

your dabbling in the words of infected and zombies . as said if infected who are we to say this effected blood clotting and other various things. i do always laugh when people try to be to realistic then we remeber we are playing a zombie game oh sorry infected humans :lol: at end of day its zombies. its a video game. only reason as said before infected is used is to accomidate not being able to do certain zombie things. or that infected suits the needs of the mod. look at various zombie films some have zombies runnnig faster than humans super strength some have them as soft mushy rotten and slow. it really is just how the person who is making film wants them percieved and this is the same with dayz but this has certain technical limits so probably infected helps more ;) also if some on had there leg bitten for eg ingame and infected they may turn get turned and in turn the leg maybe get mushy badly decomposed over time which leads to maybe being trapped and part of leg comes off. im no professor of zombie blood flow or how it would effect the body but most are using human terms which would apply . at end of day the game still needs to be fun and just saying that isnt realistic is a lame cop out and stupid if you think about it as we are playing a non existent scenario in the first place and people argue about realism :lol:
