thing is with many they read like its a news broadcast and are so nasely challenged. also most are added afterwards which is kinda cheating. real action and actual fun people is what i look for. i would do comenteries with my lot but there is so much swearing raging and such that i think wed be banned of youtube :lol:

i think this update ruined the game. on ts with 12 mates we logged in busy server for our daily dayz session and within half hr 90 percent were rolling back to previous patch and having fun again. zombies are stupid. its not that there harder the knock down thing is a joke better without it in (please listen to that rocket for standalone as i just seen you added that to the latest build of standalone aswell and its daft and isnt fun) what people need to remember it needs to be fun to play. its a game slogging it out for hrs to find one can of beans and knocked out every few steps isnt. as said if 90 percent of people so quicly stopped it says straight away this patch isnt right. take the big snipers out and make loot bit more available (currently none or close to none anywhere on busy servers) take out the stupid zombie knock downs or make them extremely rare.) so no not overly impressed and if honest you took the mod one step back in fun and playability and after watching the recent standalone video of matt playing at e3 i wonder if the standalone will be fun at all seeing how most things will be missing at start that are standard things in the mod. why will people cross over to standalone on launch or at start if the mod is better or more fun ? so please rethink your approach remember this is a game not a episode of the walking dead and revise quickly. oh and before anyone cries i have played days since near launch nearly everyday i have done about everything you can do and do regularly so its not like i cant do this or im new im giving you my honest op. this version of mod isnt fun for majority and that video isnt great at showing what the standalone is please recognise this. -

its simple these big youtubers build the hype they give the game free massive marketing. so obvoiusly they will have early access and info. hes probably got the nod to say he has access . its a big of a seesaw thing though as if its public the NDA probably doesnt stand i dont know as ive not read the Nda description as to whether hes allowed to talk about whether hes in or out. i guess with the coverage he gets on his videos i guess theyll turn a blind eye as it benefits dayz. lok forward to june and as i said for last few months it would be june :) would love to get in been constantly on dayz since it started and have kept playing it nonstop but i guess unless you someone behind the scenes this isnt going to happen for many. -

think the basics is that people know its being held back becuas probably steam want it held back that is all its not cause its not ready for us to use its cause another party says so so people get pissed. tbh how many people play through dayz commander with the mod the majority. they could of uploaded it already its not like they didint know they were going to e3 :lol: as said its probably to do with steamsaying you dont upload that or else cause there is no other logical reason not to upload the small patch which on a decent connection would take minutes. patch is just over 100 mb thats it!

this ! public was screwed in the mod because of scripters and privates are screwed becuase of cheating admins with there server tools and how th game is. so my vote would be for this mod as now private only to stop most cheats standlone public so we dont have to deal with the high percentage of cheating server admins who hide beihnd being private so cant be touched. all the stuff is locked down. yay honest gaming what a nice idea that is. -
cant believe that such a easy thing was overlooked maybe something wasnt quite ready or tey maybe wanted to wait until back from e3 how hard is it to upload a small patch ? whip the manager

no trolling why wouldnt they launch it while press is highest point of year on dayz , while most focus is on game . thats why they at e3 they havent gone for a dinner date or maybe e3 is a secret sex den :o :lol:

e3 is basically a place to showcase your product sell it creaate hype before launch. its biggest of the year thats why its important. dayz at e3 , im happy and have been waitting patiently (lies ) for great mp footage on the standalone . i hoped e3 would be showing this but no mp footage is to be shown :( so kinda sad as nobody plays dayz for anything else than mp. alpha public will probably be a buggy mess which i understand so thats okay as long as it is reflected in the pricing. so anything more than 9.99 for a alpha which isnt treble aaa is over priced . please dean can you if you not going to show mp footage just mention if admin tools will be with standalone than can be abused ? thats all i dont want for standlone rest can be some kind of zombie mess i dont care ill wade through whatever just as long as admins cant follow me round map with there live server watching tools or see what loot and stuff i have or add stuff in whenever they need some good loot to kill me. this is actually worse than peole hacking and built into the mod. so im just hoping it hasnt been carried over. if so im probably not going to buy the standalone even though its been the best game in the last recent years that is refreshing to play. good luck with e3 and the public launch of dayz standalone in june when you come back.

no it wont it will be 99 percent the same . control method will be about on difference. the new consoles have a better spec than av pc gamer so they will be more than capable of runnning dayz as good as most gamers on pc platform. before the next rant about pc specs being higher look on steam for eg at avg gamer and youll see most have old crappy pcs or older lower spec dualcore rigs . so the newer xbox 1 and ps4 will trounce them and are basically a med pc anyway. they could cross platform them and have done in other games and it always comes down to one thing = controllers and keyboard. if they added full keyboard support for xbox 1 and ps4 boom ! you wouldnt know the difference. i dont get why they wouldnt add that as it would sell alot more units and 99 percent of games are ports for console anyway.

there is no mp at e3 kinda killed it for me was really waiting to see how it works mp wise. still interested but mp gameplay would of been so sweet. before anyone tries please dont tell me you cant set mp up at the biggest gaming event of the year ;)
