no i have only said this once in this patch. theyve killed the fun. all our group stopped playing instantly which shows its not just me or one or two if my whole group of 15 just said nah its boring now. you would still have some carrying on playing but that isnt the case. watch the numbers tail off if something isnt done to rectify.

haha this is my experience i stopped playing along with the 20 or other so regs i play with everyday over the last year. great patch . killed most of the fun in the game makes it more of a grind now. takes some doing in one patch ! i know youll end up tweaking it cause most servers will start dropping off very quickly. learn one thing devs you cant make a realistic zombie game its fiction to start with ! make games fun before function. that is all you need to know.

you keep assuming. i understand what they are i use them :rolleyes: i know they are for private im asking about if tools similar or even these adapted will be in standalone can you not read this ? stop triyng to go blah blah im a super admin i must protect all othe admins from this slur against us . no , breathe, then read. i just want to know if the tools that let people be seen by admins live ingame while public players play in dayz will be in the standalone public servers obviousy . not in the dayz mod we currently play as we already know this and why would i ask about private servers in mod. it says in title standalone . so calm yourself and just dont answer if you dont know. its a question for those that do know. the standalone has locked down stuff so this maybe differerent stucture and admins cant abuse certain things as they are locked. as for running popular servers no i know nothing of it ive had number one ranked servers in world multiple games for many years. gotta love assumption :lol:

im a idiot for adding a game breaking tool to give unfair advanatage over every person who play dayz :rolleyes: how do you know public servers in standalone wont have these tools or maynot get a similar type tool ? answer you dont ! so reel your neck in idiot. people keep suggesting get my own server i have a server which i have said numerous times try reading. also getting your own server doesnt fix the issue of people being shown live on the map while playing. if you cant see that as a massive issue in game then i am really puzzled. thing is there are already besides this tool many things to catch everything cheater related so just disabling the live bit would be more fairer to legit players. if you dont use exploit the feature well done but many do and recognise what advantage this holds over the avg joe public and what a game breaker it is. there are many other waays to do whats needed without giving the admins the option to basically cheat. think of this the biggest issue in dayz is ? hacking everyone goes on about this and guess what admins have a built in legit hack tool. so every admin can basically cheat legit if they want or choose too. some wont fair enough but why even give a option ? if every player had this tool some would use it some wont but i guarentee you it wouldnt be added to players ingfame so why give it admins ? its a exploit and bascially a legit hack . tools are very useful but due to the nature of this game it is also such a exploit which is possible which also breaks the very game its supposed to stop the cheaters against doing. funny thing is all people do is rage about everything other than the pure logic that the tool is a legit hack if you want to use it like that and freely able to be used. a better tool needs sorting .

i have said this too many people. part of the dayz fun is the quirkyness or things not working or glitching on a building falling off and your mate laughing at you. once it becomes so fluid and slick half of the fun will be gone that made the mod so great to play. things that are random or not meant to happen by choice add a extra bit of unknown. taking this unknown out makes for stale gameplay.

thing is just as many do play it for pvp so your point is as valid as his. denying pvp the game will quickly dwindle.

this is what i was asking or if another tool which would be made to do same tol on standlone ! so basically triyng to stop it happening again when standlone is out. i understand about private hives have a dayz server up now :lol:

the tool is a legit hack. anyone else would be banned for using such a tool. the only difference is your runnnig a server . thats it. you dont even need to see people live. there are anticheats to do that and this shouldnt be in standalone. before you start about anticheats next i have run servers gaming wise for close to 15 years i know what is what and what does what. you may not use the tool to your advantage but many many people do. admin has base you sneak in kill them take there gear woops lets check the tool oh they over there lets go. this is the too common scenario in dayz. you shoot admin with sniper hes with few other players on teamspeak wheres he gone ? oh ill just look. why even give people that power over public players when you dont need to be seeing what public players are mvoing live ? saying i might not do it or i dont who knows who doesnt when its smack bang on your pc screen while playing .

omg love how admins will come in defending themselves listen many admins do abuse this :rolleyes: who includes a tool that can let you see what everyone is doing live ! why even play ? the whole ponit is to be stealthy and sneak about why bother when admin is tracking your every step. i have witnessed many people doing it on many many servers . admins are often playing in groups that group always seems to find you in some random bizarre place becuase one of em has the tool open and is tracking you. lock the tool dont make let it be live. what good is it just saying go find a another server who has the same tool and is doing the exact same thing :lol: genius ! the tool is at fault it needs stopping. if someone other than the admin used this they would get banned ! its as bad as cheating. difference is admin can do it on his own server and guess what nothing ! nothing at all. its a major floor in the game. most people who admin actually have it open most of the time when they on.

zombies or even "infected " often carry tins of beans around with them :lol: ill leave that to the the realistic people on here to argue :P

what if food isnt avaiable in 1.7.7 on big servers ? less loot before equals less food = die less loot to get food knife and matches and tools to hunt to get food = die on small servers its fine on big 50 man servers you die through a update and not through your own doing. needs tweaking. nothing to do with skill its all to do with loot and spawning with relevant numbers of people per server.

no what people do is assume that and take one eg i said and think they havent tried what you speak of already. loot all loot is rarer so it doesnt matter what method you use to try and achieve your goal if the loot isnt available in the first place ! so no spoon fed if you havent got a spoon in the first place. go get a knife a matches and blah balh what if they arnt there either cause everyone else is doing same ? so it isnt a being spoon fed or skill its cause loot is rare and nothing else. as said they didnt figure in the factor of busy servers and loot . which is a mistake.

yep needs tweaking on small test servers it may seem good but on big 50 plus servers it sucks ass and majority of players will be on big servers not servers with 10 player on. its gone from all loot to no loot in one giant step. a step to far to soon.

entspeak what makes you think people are noobs or whatever and loot is rare. its like a benny hill show with zombie knockdowns on busy servers for eg was on a busy full 50 man server in electro yesterday , ran near hosptial and there were already about 40 zeds around because of others not my spooking them so i jogged by them and i got knocked down even though im like 15 ft away from nearest one :rolleyes: get back up knocked down again rinse and repeat three or four times. great fun that ! next busy servers yes and loot becuase many want to play with people it is mp after all . then many places are quite barren of loot anyway so because of the decreae of loot there is litterally nothing now ! genius ! so you spawn you cant get anything because its so rare. so you can shoot defend yourself cause you spawn with nothing and there is nothing to pick up . so as said bad decision and nothig skill based . on servers which arnt busy which are pointless playing if noone plays them (might aswell play single player ) then you will get odd bit of loot. so the loot needs to be upped a little .

good news about the knock down being tweaked but look at loot aswell or food and loot. walking for three hrs to find a empty can of beans = fun ? nope. the balance is wrong you dont go from lots of loot to none you do it in small steps. you took a jump to far.

loot should be more common food and health wise. people havent got 6 hr to check churno out to find there isnt even a can of beans. most people have small amounts of play time . zombie knock downs no thanks its stupid (yes i know you tweaking but it really should be very rare) also why are zombies so fast or " infected " they wouldnt be fast they would be slow ! zombies dead humans there for slower , infected = equals ill = not fully fit so slower than human. only real thing i like and people that i have spoken to about this patch is the removal of the big guns snipers. thats it its not as fun as older patch.

i played instantly on patch launch constant hacks onthe server and the server was litterally being reboote every ten minutes to combat the scripters. also even though i actually helped test that 1.7.7 a little that patch is a step backwards and the previous patch is more fun to play. zombie knock downs , no just remove or make so random that they appear to not happen. not enough loot not enough anything not enough fun ! keep te mod fun and dont listen to a zombie ner who plays 19 hrs a day unlike 95 percent of the players who actually play this. they havent got time to spend 4 hrs looking for a tin of beans , 3 hrs walking round the edge of churno just to find there is no loot. it isnt fun. realize this quickly !

haha what makes this even more funny is i knew exactly how the patch for eg was going to work out as i tested some of it on the 1.7.7 though not right at the very end and as said the knock down thing is a joke. as to go play wastealnds how is that even helpful. everyone who dont like new changes to dayz go play warz. that doenst help does it? also this update hasnt made th game go back to how it was at the beginning .zombies were never like this and loot wasnt this basic. i know i played back then. it was still more fun but the recent updates arnt.

joe it may seem provoctitive but it is also true you write down a honest comment on my op and you know within minutes someone who is pro dayz no matter right or wrong in thinking will bash what someone says regardless. i as said was playing the new version of the mod with friends last night straight after it went live within 30 minutes everyone rolled back to earlier patch why ? it wasnt fun ! most gamers havent got 16 hrs to creep round cherno hoping a can of beans may spawn and that they can takea 13 mile round trip to dodge zomies. they want quick fast action without breaking there head on floor by being knocked down by zombies every two seconds. now before the go play warz is responde :lol: im not a new player i do very well and our group is the same we go on servers litterally dominate them till we leave. we are a bunch of competitive gamers and we arent new so we know how to paly dayz we just saying it just isnt fun ! so nobody needs to dive in saying go paly warz you noob you cant play dayz blah blah low skill whatever. we talking about the fun time aspect which doesnt look like it will be fun. fraggle i understand that the video doesnt show the whole game but thats the whole point as to why i said get someone who is decent fun to play it at the expo matt even says i am not very good at this it hardly enspires confidence in the game if one of the head devs cant even play it properly or oh that bug is erm still there at the biggest convo of the year just before release. its easy to hate and harder to be positive i know but some simple things devs forget over players is yes it needs to work but look from the players side does that look loads of fun being smashed to floor ? constantly ? no. making loot more rare more fun ? no. im going to buy your game regardles but im just saying dont go full retard on trying to make things ultra realistic over fun. also yes i realize its work in progress and why i mention it now so you can tweak things as saying after you launch and after people say man thats boring or whatever its too late. dont take negitives as negitives for the sake of it take the criticism work with it.

gameplay seen looks tab boring zombie knock downs = just remvoe them its stupd or make them extremely rare. no vehicles on release whoever did this have a word with your self majority wont care if tey are being updated they need vehicles to get round big map and running equals not fun and boring so just add old ones until you finish the newer versions. make it fun . fun is what sells games and what makes them good not stupid windows 8 style functions and minecraft style gui. every dev is trying to crecreate minecraft features stop ! it aint cool its been done to death . create your own things and make it simple and easy.

rocket and matt if you watching i dont want a reply even just listen please get someone at e3 who plays dayz and knows whats going off and how to play and is fun. the video you showed of matt was boring and didnt spark any interest it actually put most people off even buying the standalone i spoken too . looks like basically you getting less than the free mod and vehicles wont b on release and the stupid knock down animation thats been added is just no . i love the game / the mod played it since you made it and love it and played alot more than the avg joe (everyday last year ) and if im honest it just doesnt look fun ! video games should be fun foremost. if it isnt fun people will play leave it then fo back to the mod. you may not mind this as you may of been paid i really dont know. please listen to people who have fun in the game and make it priority. so many devs are putting out half assed video games going for the must have this windows 8 box icon this or feel and forgetting the one basic thing fun ! so will be nice to see the next video at e3 but please try and stimulate me no im not gay but you get the drift :lol: . just remove the zombie take down it doesnt work in te mod or the standalone it is repetitive and who wants to spend there time doing press ups ingame up down up down. waits inevitable play better blah blah fanboy responses :P
