many many servers just the same been on that myself spawn in kill noob sniper take his hard earned 20-30 dollar amonth buyin gear them im off too ruin the admins. next admin uses the tools for server teleports to you or we must restart and flys in in a jet to bomb you . that is 99 percent of those servers played by skilless people who pay to have the basics done for them then sit the whole game on spawn points wd ! my favourite eg off this was on gamersdream where i had a hundred killstreak of murders . admin couldnt kill me yet he spawned in helis, planes, jets, armoured trucks just to get me ROFL!

i kill everyone i see regardless i will only loot those i see have something better than what i already have then hide body.

as i said about 50 pgs ago what has needed to be said has been after that point it becomes just trolls, nonsense, repeating of stuff .

if you get between 10-20 fps you need to upgrade and not hope for pc miracles

standalone should be 60 fps easy on a newish rig thats plenty. if i can get over that on arma 3 and cant on standalone ill be scratching my head.

this is often bs from greedy admins ! sorry you can rent servers for as little as 30 dollars a month when you see some people netting silly amounts like 500 dollars a month it isnt for " maintaining the servers ! " :lol: i think this kind of blatent abuse should get the server black listed. fair enough covering server costs but making a business proftting from a games content when the whole product is not about selling you dlc which is what you basically are selling even though you dont own the rights to do so is a pisstake. atleast in standalone if all the stuff is locked offf god i pray it is then this blatant selling stuff to people will end.

this is true like the other mods maps. as with any game its the " in thing or new " and once standalone drops boom the mod side of the game will take a massive hit. only thing i like about dayzero is the performance thats about it.

only reason people were getting there knickers in a twist becuase numerous people have asked for it to be removed which you know they have. yes will be interesting to see how the admin stuff is handled and 3rd party map tools by admins hopefully all are banned or game updated so they wont work.

trying not to be a douche but you or other dont want to segrigate people but want third person mainly removed ? this alone is hipercritcal. removing or " refining " " renaming " is just a way of bypassing it. i think tbh the game should be locked down with set rules myself. reason i no longer play the mod is because it is just a admin or " god " that rules dayz. . so yes set rules no admin abuse less hacks awesome. still think this might happen then private servers announced few months later which makes it all pointless. then the removed third person is intro duced and the all you can eat servers become most popula with 3rd person and then you end up where you are now a minority :lol: damn i can see it already happening ;) even if stuff is locked down for eg whats to stop server companies giving tools to the admin like now ? this alone makes it all pointless again. admins watching 24/7 where you do everytihng hide everything live ! breaking the whole game before you even started and here we are worrying about people looking over a wall :lol: so yes its not a easy task i know that so hope i dont give the impression to you like its a easy descission cause it aint. ;) as to rifining the first person camera sorry 3rd person :lol: dunno how it would work or if its worth doing. maybe just go for first or just leave as is. making a gimped third person still seems odd to me as those who mainly play 1st will still play first anyway and those who like 3rd are made to use a lesser view just because others deem it a exploit.

simple maths ! people are using polls to go by yes ? to see interest in 3rd person being removed so by these very percentages it shows what you could lose potentially . now these percenetages are used they " have no idea about the business model " based on percentages given by the said polls to show indication on how 3rd vs first person is :rolleyes: lock the thread then becuase its all bs ! used to inflate 1st person it must be played this way and every other way is wrong. poll has been done on reddit about ten percent said they wouldnt buy the game with no third person thats going to be close to 100,000 people then if you want to use your own polls or are these polls a waste of time ? if so the whole posts polls should just be locked. even if its only 5 percent who dont buy because of no 3rd person thats 50,000 potential sales lost and thats still probably more than ricket recieved total for the whole project pay off. this isnt some mega big block buster game its a mod with some finance behind it. you dont lose that much money for such little changes. its common sense. as said if its all make up just lock this thread.

they could play the long game but they wouldnt lose 100,000 sales for having or not having 3rd person. if you believe that as said i dont know what to say. bi arnt money grabbers but they wouldnt risk losing that amount of sales in such a hard period of sales in gaming. for those that dont know retail sales were down 15 percent last year. thats massive many companies struggle to even make games.

it would be a success but the devs wouldnt lose 100,000 customers or sales over third person it would be kept. what some dont seem to grasp is sales first ! then game functions after. you dont lose or risk losing such a massive amount over somethig so small ingame. its doesnt matter how much they need to break profit if someone said to you leave that in thats in for 2 million quid would you or would you take it out to please minority small player base ? you would take the money simple as. its a business. all rest is spin. third person wont go anywhere as said. im not worried about salees its just games are run by how much money they can make not how much the devs want the game to be the purist thing for us lot.

the thing is you dont gamble with sales when you know your product will sell better with it than without it. anyone who thinks it wont matter to sales go get your head checked. it would hit sales.
