    its not that survival is getting harder its getting more annoying less fun ! as said antibotics once taken why you infected shortly after if hit ? the very mechanics they using to try and say its more realistic is not true its just what can be done with the game and then saying this is more realistic. its a totally different thing. the thing is this just doesnt add fun it actually decreases it. i dont know what im talking about becuase you can get schrubs and plants to heal :rolleyes: what relevance has that got to do with anytihng other than you dissagree :rolleyes: so you have plants and schrubs okay time taken to gather said plants and shrubs other gear needed to get this to heal your self or shoot someone and take there gear ? = shoot person 99 percent of time as its quicker ! it mostly always boils down to time as what will happen. thing is if at the hospitals blood spawned or the antibiotics not overly done but reasonable (remember before anyone dives in not on empty low population servers <_< ) then you would lower kos and annoying death from infection. it doesnt have to be ten boxes of blood just reasonable. people who assume they are the "Hardcore" of the game just want to knit jumpers while being safe from everytihng in game and collect every little morsal on the island look i got a bottle top :rolleyes: well thats not zombie or infected survival thats a old pensioners weekend ! majority who actually fill this game and keep it busy want to fight zombies survive and pvp action. some will say thats not at all well your talking bs then because you only have to look at what server is full 24/7 and what isnt. look how many play first person and how many play 3rd. when will the 1st person crafting king be crowned ? :lol: now i know others like other ideas but you think the majority of dayz players want to spend all day sifting through diffferent kinda of biotics getting smacked by zombies 10ft across the road ? (dont say this doesnt happen it happens everytime you run by them !) it isnt fun. waits for nect person you cant play dayz then response :rolleyes:

    its this kind of eliteism when you dont agree that kills games. i can use the system but its like the team or razor for eg is adding extra stuff for the sake of adding stuff. i understand why its being added but does it add to the gameplay ? does it make it more fun or does it subtract ? you have your opinion fair enough but for me adding all the extra crap like 15 different types of antibitoics is pointless. its useless titbits and takes more time than it should when a simple one antibiotics could surfice. the game is about zombies or what most people buy this game for not for antibiotics and crafting. whenever people dont agree first thing out their mouth on here you dont understand you cant play the game i can and do play the game and probably more than most who suggest such stupid replies :rolleyes: the zombies are " infected " okay ill role with this :lol: but trying too hard to over complicate the process of infections. its like you adding it just to waste time doing it. its not fun its not realistic. its a chore ! everyones missing the simple thing with infections and related if you had the infection and you have had antibiotics you are cured ! so you shouldnt get infected again at all or in a certain time period. so now it becomes just a game mechcanic to match the unrealistic ways because thats what can be done.so the whole process is bs tbh. unrealistic ideas that are subtracting from the fun of the game. i understand the game wants to show enough differences from the mod when it comes out but some simple things are great and simple things can and are often the best ways of doing things. as for stuff like blood bags and such if they dont spawn how do you survive ? you dont simple as ! you cant craft blood :rolleyes: its like whell make this gameplay but the items you may need wont spawn or very rare . that makes no sense.in a idealistic world maybe but no one plays by the rules or game doesnt work as should. we arnt playing on 5 man servers most play on 50 man servers so guess what? no antibiotics ever or blood bags or other vital needs . so guess what you increase kos for people who cant get the items. they killing others to get the items. the very things that people hate the most :lol: genius ! so the very stuff you trying to do is actually corrupting how you ideally want the game to be played. its not thought out its daft. people on here rage about kos and other stuff yet silly things keep getting added to supposedly make it more realistic when all its doing is making it less fun and more of what people actually dont want. step back focus on the key things like zombie movements , glitching, good animations that are fast and fluid , stop trying to add things for the sake of adding things.

    so soon well have to be qualified doctors to play the game? keep the things simple guys going to deep into little things are going to ruin the gameplay. this isnt wow ! hi ! what you been upto ? well i started off in electro by crafting my own shoes out of a bottle top and a pair of paint cans . after two hrs of looking for them and waiting for them to eventually spawn :lol: i went to the hospital where i had to craft my own medication out of a broken window a candle and a zombie foot . it turned out to work and now the only problem is i have a bit of a cough. i cant wait to do this everytime i play every 30 minutes it will make this game the best ! next i have to goto the shop to get some food i hope there is some empty cans lying about as my helicopter needs a new engine and sweetcorn cans when mixed with a spare whale bone should just do the job. dont you just miss the dayZ when you could just get a pack of antibiotics ? or just get something to eat without the hassle and enjoy playing , having fun? nah i love crafting and collecting useless items it passes the time and really becomes useful in dangerous firefights which are once every few minutes :lol: that way i can do it over and over again it doesnt become reptitiousat all ! :P how often are the devs playing ? dev ideas and gmers ideas totally diffferent in practice. calm down on some of the stuff you adding and make simple good mechanics work properly first. then think about adding other stuff. this game will just become about collecting items and nothing else.

    wipes basically are pretty much a waste of time most avg joe will think they cure infections both obviously they do not. its like adding extra stuff for the sake off it to look like you done extra just keep things working good and simple. one set antibotics that arent as rare as a hens tooth. waits for next update to see hens tooth added :lol: also what i said about antibiotics if we going down the infected root ! if i have antibiotics i shouldnt be able to be infected for a period of time as they heal cure the infection i have so will a time period be added or does this infection come and go to whenever it works with game mechanics ? antiseptic rub :rolleyes: .

    if they redoing the skellton for us in game why not make the skelton for the zombies like we use ? surely this would stop the zombies doing the weird glitches.

    true about the infection and zombie glitching and such but which will be easy to sort and work most commonly best. i think the infection is easier to solve than the complex path finding. leave it upto the devs.

    i went to hospital to get some blood none there as i ran by a zombie longer than arms length i heard a thud im infected :lol: its arms didnt move or was in a real striking distance. im not new to the game probably played 2000 hrs total ! most of the players were raging cause me and mate were killing everyone so its not i cant survive its just some of the infected or zombie hits arnt properly animated as hits or are too often. rememeber most arent hardened dayz players and will just get raped and leave this isnt good for gameplay or fun.

    the infection is added only to try and cement that the zombies are infected people that is all. i dont think the infected is great really but i will give it a chance currently its not that great ingame but it is the mod. people will always argue about this even when it comes out this is my op you have yours.

    also if its a once percent chance how can i get infected 3 times in about ten minutes of play ? also if you have had antibotics you should become imune for a period of time should you not ?

    what if they already there ? on busy servers for eg alot of areas will be constantly swarmed. on the test server for eg i shot one zombie in head within two minutes 150 zombies ! i like the numbers but if it isnt spawning the gear to heal myself whats the point ? ive been in hospital every time for eg one box no blood. on busy servers guess what soon as you get infected you might awell just die. spawn again in electro healthy ! no real thought on that has been made. you dont go from 10 zombies to one hundred you just broke your own rules . you lept to far . increae yes but obviously if you going to make the zombies more dangerous which xombies sohuld be dangerous atleast give us items in hospitals. quite liking the mod how it is but as said zombies are infecting you so easy and you do get hit even without arm movements say running by them which is wrong. arms width or no dice ! also where have all the bags gone ? finding a bag is like finding a rockinghorse shit but finding a auto matic rifle or machine gun is easier ! makes no sense. balance basics please !. weapon swopping 1 2 3 man why this wasnt done straight away i never know but so glad its in now but.... still bit slow and clunky so smoother transition from swop to gun to axe to pistol please. great work keep at it ! ;)

    because of how the zombies react and swarm you you get infected more. it may not of increase in percent or ratio but you get infected more because of how the react or act now. if this is the case you need the blood and antibiotics which generally dont spawn as quick or even at all. ive played for hrs now and its not random 5 minutes noticing this. increase blood spawn and antibiotics speed up ladder animations when getting on. overall pretty fun .

    been infected 3 times in 3 hits ! as anti and blood is not common its a pain in the arse. also as i pmd you the ladder animation is now to slow for zombies they hitting you from 50 foot behind when you grab it.

    cheers sorted the journal one thing i noticed is how the zombies seem slightly quicker but they are hitting you before you start climbing on a ladder even though you have a resonable gap. the ladder animation needs speeding up. it causes you to get hit just because its so slow .

    lol ive been hit even though no animation was shown so ran by zombie ten foot away im bleeding. thats where the ten foot arms come from and it is true. where is the murders and zombie montior ? i like seeing who i killed.

    Opinions on releasing DayZ on console?

    its this kind of comedy that keeps me glued to the internets ! check the gui the way dayz is going it will end up focused on console and be massive. saying it wont work on console im sat here just shaking my head. everything is being simplified why do you think that is? CONSOLES MOTHA ****** :P . once its out on pc it shouldnt take more than month or two to port over to consoles. the new consoles are mid range gaming pcs under neath anyway only difference is the control method and with how the gui inventory and that is being set up should be very very console friendly. when it launches on console come back here and give me some beans ;)

    some things are way over the top do like how we can spawn where we want inventory pretty sweet zombies are stupidly over the top. ten feet away instant smash knocked over or hit every time. the amount of zombies that are in builldings straight after a shot or instantly too much. people are saying we trying to make it realistic then make like cartoon outlines on stuff looks more consoley. so have a tweak especially on zombies. if you like playing for quick fun yes if you after a more realistic approach the patch probably took a step backwards.

  23. in comes mods and back into the stupid circle where in now welcome to the new awesome mod where admins have all best gear 24/7 paytowin donate 20 dollars a month and recieve everything mentality. dont allow mods only the ones that are excepted by dev team but do not change the rules on no server tools and leave other stuff locked off. went on a dayzero server no nothnig anywhere looking for goodies then one guy is like yeah i got this and got that im full up you admin mate ? yep :rolleyes: this times every private server basically. this is why if modding is allowed it has to be strictly controlled and no leinency black list servers who abuse no subscriptions ! i hope namalsk and taviana come to standalone then im happy.
  24. so are damaged shoes going to have speed decreae in travelling ? same as clothes what does this mean you will get colder quicker? some of it sounds awesome but like a zombie for eg that smashes you through a wall if you in a remote area and you get a bug glitch which damages you you gunna be pissed. definitely interesting. wonder how many TK maxx shops are going to be in churn :lol:
