only suggested moonlit because its the only medium inbetween to be able to see and play without aid. the mod itself and night is the problem. so if its not fixed in the mod you can either give everyone nightvision (not realistic) or make moonlight which is already done .so moonlit was suggested as its possible now. obviosuly a totaly redone nightime would be better but whos going to do that in arma 2 now or dayz mod ? noone. not with standalone or arma 3. it makes no sense to put that much effort into it for the mod. -

more a case of server rankings and majority prefer 24/7 daylight. if you want to stay busy you use 24/7 day light . i did say this early on that it shouldnt be a option and that all servers have a night time cycle then people would play it become use to it. also lack of night vision or aid to see in dark cause quite rare puts people off. i personally like it dark and adds to the atmosphere. there are some servers that have modded the dark and made it like moonlit so it still retains darkness but you can see ! this with working street lights is the best mix and should really be incoperated into the standalone . thing is it will always come back to majority and server rankings so if a daylight option is on the server then it will sadly always remain 24/7 light. -

okay just pickup up baseball bat wouldnt reload or enable to be used had to drop pick back up. shortly after went to get a axe while had bat and it said i had to wait before picking axe up. is that right or bug ? waiting to pick item up. actually said message on screen wait before picking up. zombies were walking through school walls in circles and at shop back but this isnt really patch related.

no the point is people have different views i accept that you dont and others try to use derogatory responses to justify your playing procedure. just be honest but dont come with the play better you cant play dayz cause your view is different thats low .

some bugs i have experienced in the builds invincible god mode , bleeding but not dying, running with broken legs, not blood bagging, not bandaging, players knocked out invincible (other invincible was because of bodyshots) zombies hitting through walls , the bloodbagging i think may of been related to being invincible but i couldnt also eat or drink or bandage when invincible.

ive tested every version and told you about the bugs over the last few days actually just fell like uninstalling the game after what you just put as you dont even notice what i have put and i have been specific about the bugs . ive played all the patches upto now . unless you have another build which hasnt been released. which i couldn of tested. ive been testing the builds that have been on the public test server on BM ive been on there ever since it went up :rolleyes: I HAVE TESTED ALL 1.8 PATCHES AND BUILDS YOU HAVE DONE ! just so you dont miss it this time :lol:

he did say it would be out by the 16th the other day. im not going to check through but he did say the 16th. im not too bothered if it is or not as i know its not ready to be released . releasing if with he bug that were in the latest build would be quite silly as they are game busting bugs not little ones.

this is the normal response to anyone who differs from the i love dayz blindly and its great no matter squad . what some of you may not know me and death dealer have probably put in 30-50 hrs on the test server testing this patch and played dayz the actual mod probably 2000 hrs ! so we arnt new we can easily live survive in dayz. . as normal cause people dont agree "you cant play dayz you must be new blah blah bug dont exist " :rolleyes: so while we havent been trying it :rolleyes: and putting in the time looking for bugs and things that need fixing to make the game better i guess there is no point when everytime you put a response or see something that needs fixing tweaking people put these type fanboy responses learn to play dayz yadada yadada yadada .

no chance this being released today or get ready for bandwagons of hate if they pushing out early because there are quite a few bugs that need fixing more so than last patch so a newer build needs doing first.

entspeak i get you love whatever is going to be done .you almost sound like you at razors house lying in bed with the covers drew back ;) situational awareness for zombies smashing you through solid walls. man youll go far with your support and excuses. i fully understand testing and game progression. the devs have no easy task but dont let em slide on simple stuff. thats why i often ride grind out shit because silly stupid things need to be sorted to be done make the game better ! some devs hate me ! :P good ! what people might not understand is i want the game to be the best it can be ! letting things slide by or thats good enough when it isnt isnt a option with me ill speak up say my bit people wont agree fair enough. too many people especially in gaming at moment are putting out bs games with no depth or originality this is one project which is good and original which if done right will be great for years ! so why skimp on little things that annoy ? people do understand that things break with builds thats a gimme. but its how you deal with those breaks that really shows the difference. some annoying bugs are still present that are old not new. i actually think how the original zombies were were better. for pure avoidance and stealthing around . you could creeep walk around towns crouched. you do this on busy servers now you still get noticed. would be nice to have a range detector to have alook at this to see the spook range of zombies. to see if anything is different. simple things like zombie hit detection , how many times a zombie like 20 ft away you hear the bum and see your hit ? all the time this has nothing to do with its realistic or its one of those things thats a basic. if not in arms length no hit simple. someone will probably say now doesnt happen happens all the time like earlier on the 1.8 test server.

about 2 hrs ago when i was on zombie hit me though wall at shop :lol: they still are going through walls and other items.

was just fishing and caught a trout will at a later date animations be done for swinging fish to hand seeing fish in hand putting in back pack ? or is it staying as is ? i know more things are higher up on the priority list at the moment but it would be nice.

doesnt matter whether it was factored in. it is kos regardless to most people ! youre saying not to avoid high yield places you want to just weigh up the vs and rewards its obvious you spawn near you dont go running for hrs on a end with nothing when a town is righht next to you do you ? it all comes down to time at the end of the day. now you choose to use the word moronic for going into churno but taking a 3 hrs round trip for not getting shot with no gear to show for it isnt ? :rolleyes: while i may die once during your 3 hrs round trip of getting nothing i died respawned got back in got guns got gear and running happy as a bunny meanwhile your crouch walking looking at plants and wild life i then spot you and shoot you. whos moronic you are ! you just spent 3 hrs dodging the inevitable for only to be shoot anyway ! thats moronic ! :lol: best thing is people like you who go out of your way to collect all the goods for people like me often get shot instantly and then i take all your gear. so actually your way is the moronic one and most time consuming and the least rewarding overall. also scouting churno , you may look at top middle towers spot some noob sniper firing constantly whos a bad shot but players who are decent you wont spot theyll hit you one shot upto 1000m away you are dead . dont just assume your some super sneak artist its easy to spot people at long distances and around the edges of towns as the distances make you stand out like a sore thumb . i aint bitching about survival it isnt that hard to survive but is it fun running for hrs to avoid people or instance of danger ? as said its about time vs fun reward and running for 8hrs dodging everything collecting leafs and drinking water isnt fun its boring and easy. that is not skilled its just boring. never said te game should be adjusted and why whenever someone dislikes the others playstyle do players use a derogatory come back ? :rolleyes: such lame ness im doing it for yours to highlight your reply. its pathetic . basically you survive because you avoid everything thats it ! its not skilled its not fun its boring. surviving playing the game going into the big towns thats why tey are there ! you are missing out on the fun the danger. so whos moronic you or me ? :lol: youll argue your point ill argue mine i accept yours fair enough but mine is better ;) and it should be noted you dont have to spawn near churno erm... the spawning according to razer will be down to server admins so its random :rolleyes: so if you spawn at churno you are at churno. you take your one hr run around it ill take the 5 minute run through it grab my gear kill you on the way out and eat your beans and collect all your items you kindly collected for me. thanks you just saved me hrs and hrs for that cheers !

what you or others fail to realize is in big towns or cities like churno for eg if you spawn close you are going to go in unless you are fully mindset on avoiding it which if you in churno area thats a extra 30-1 hr run just to avoid it going round and when you have no gear / nothing to lose it makes no sense doing so. any decent sniper will spot you if good whether you are being sneaky or not. they will have adavantage of hieght aswell. also it is harder to sneak around unnoticed regardles of what people put so more people will get killed by snipers kos brigade becuase zombies are more easily alerted. then you have the big servers which if true 150 people hahahaha sneaking through the big towns you just aint going to do that so pleaae dont say you will you wont. saying avoid the high yield areas then whats the point of having the towns full stop ? so many cliches .

cant see how this will be out monday just been shot in body multiple times i wont stop bleeding , even if bandaged up still bleed though im not dying but animation of blood still flowing. i tried to morphine myself as had broken leg and was still running around but it didnt work then about 5 minutes later it decided to finally do it as i was running :o i was blood bagged by mate it didnt heal my blood stayed same. so theres quite a few messed up things at moment.

can confirm that the bug were they cant die is still in 1.8 latest build. just shot a guy like 2 full ak mags in his body and mate shot him with m14 in head he just ran off. also cant choose spawn now im spawning in random places :o

everyone is gbetting kicked off the test server for same issue ! SettingVarible 0# by battle eye . this needs looking at you last about 1 minute before being kikced with latest 1.8 build.

why would you become infected by the same infection once weve had antibiotics for that infection in such a short period of time. its this kind of excuses and moving goal posts that im talking about. you wouldnt be infected straight away with the same infection its that simple or has the infected virus now just changed itself to suit game mechanics :lol:
