absolutely needs changing, Suppressed weapons are quite valuable against zeds, but keeping my MP5 in rounds takes every man in our team searching all the time -

your suggestion is to punish people for engagingin PvP that is an anti-PvP suggestion whether you think it is for carebear reasons or not it has carebear effects by discouraging the PvP -

it would keep me from spending ten minutes being blaze', and then it would keep me from playing period for FUCKING WEEKS because I play a fair amount of Day Z and I have died a lot (mostly [like 80% plus] from glitches)

I play a fair bit - when I take a life seriously I live for forty hours when I get killed by a glitch and lose my entire arsenal I just want to run around and shoot anything that moves, and I don't want to wait 64 hours just to have some stupid release tl:dr respawn delay timers are worse than most anti-PvP suggestions, people need to accept that this is a PvP game, read up on the prisoners' dilemma and stop crying

I kill people in the game for safety and fun, but I will always regret an unprovoked murder - that's hours of time you just cost someone -
a 'you DC and re-C too much so you die' system won't help me - the only DC'ers I've suffered have been on the server chatting for hours before I fire at them such a system would ruin me though, because I DC every half hour to have a smoke/fix a drink/take a call/eat/live in general avatars stay in game for 90 seconds after you leave the server, or just don't try to fix it

anyone who has had their tent looted is one of the retards that puts them within 100ft of a popular loot location my team hides our tents and vehicles in the north of the map, and we have never once been looted -
if you want wild loot find visit the watch towers - I found an M4A3 CCO in one, and they are the only places I have found GPS boxes

not parachute, an inflatable outrigger thing with limited fuel could also be used for 'party' spawns as for editable loadouts? no makarov is default for a reason; give certain people the option to spawn with a lee even if it costs their own survivability and they'll just ruin the coast -

we don't need a game mechanic to force moral considerations onto players, if a player feels ill at ease when he considers the ramificatioins his actions will have on others then great, I feel bad so take my time thousands don't, we wouldn't be where we are today without them -
you mean morale morale doesn't need simulating, DayZ should engender sufficient emotion in the player as is, any mechanic would only result in conflict between player and avatar, destroying one of the game's greatest achievements

nights are super dark because Rocket knows players will bump their in game gamma and brightness to maximum no matter how dark he makes it as standard, so default darkness is deliberately accounting for that adjustment

it's a bad suggestion because it judges the player, and the only value judgement DayZ is meant to make is 'How many days did you live after DayZ?' if you want civilisation to survive after DayZ you need to build it yourself, the game world should not help you make friends I have a circle of buds that I run with, and we're friendly to all (if you want in shout the 'DayZ Survivors' steam group and we'll think about it) unless we're on a raid or have all the gear we could want and are bored, in which case we'll rack up the kills in the sobor region we're a tribe, absolutely natural human behaviour, but a game creating such a construct? that's amazing -
if bicycles make it into dayz I will never play another game

what game are you playing? my friends and I don't die to bandits or opportunists because we travel in a group, raid military camps one at a time with extensive overwatch, and work together at all times that my last four deaths (that's 80 hours of game time) are exclusively glitches (I never DC or intentionally use any other exploit) is proof of the value of team work
