Bump, post needs some recognition.

So my server hosted through Host Altitude was fine until today when hackers got in some how and spawned vehicles without getting kicked (even with BE update) so everyone was getting BE kicked by createVehicle script restriction #1. So I reinstalled my BattleEye update and then I loaded my server back up, no tents or vehicles anywhere. Our tents are gone, vehicle spawns are gone so I restarted again and left it there for 10 minutes and put it back up. Same thing, re-did it but this time reinstalled the hive update, still nothing. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Just wondering where can I go to access the ban logs and unban certain players? My server does not use BEC, I just DaRT and the cPanel offered by Host Altitude. I found the bans.txt in the cfgdayz/BattleEye but I couldn't open it. Any suggestions?

I just recently got my server and I need some help with a few configuring options. I am hosting a server through Host Altitude. So first question is that I'm trying to access my logs, where can I go to take a look at them? I can't open them in the file manager, and can't edit them in the configuration files. I also heard the logs are no longer able to be looked at to track hackers, true of false? Second question is how do I do the rolling restarts, I do not really want to use BEC because I find it complicated to set everything up. This is what the rolling restart panel looks like on the cPanel: Next one is that one of my admins says that there is an option to turn on so that in the chat box we can see people connecting and disconnecting (prevent combat dodging) however we heard that you can see this in the logs, however we cannot access them. And lastly Host Altitude hasn't provided files for updating to 95833, any ETA on that from anyone on here who can answer it? Thanks for any help provided.

Stop bitching about wanting shit done quickly, it's a very limited development team fixing the game for FREE, again FREE. It's a free mod, the game may cost money but Bohemia doesn't share any of their profit. Don't talk shit because people wanted things done quickly, you got a hotfix instead of a patch because people wanted fixes to be done, don't be angry when Rocket has to rush and there are issues because he couldn't prepare the patch fully.

Wouldn't let me login to my server, also are there any other threads about this program before this one?

So all I can see is people connecting and disconnecting now? That's discomforting since I want to be able to spot abnormal things such as script kiddies on my server.

Have you just tried a clean re-install of the BattleEye + Day Z update? Maybe that will fix your issues but you might have to reconfigure things.

So I just recently rented a server and got it up and running for my clan. I read the FAQ and helped me figure out how to change all settings on the server, got that done. Need help with these two things: How do I edit the server name so it appears on the server list as (SERVER NAME: 3D:1 CH:1) Currently only states that it is veteran and nothing else. Also, how do I go about scheduling rolling restarts every 12 hours, with an admin warning message. Sorry if these questions are a bit simple to do, just new to this. Thanks for any help.

Was searching the NE tip at Guba for a PBX spawn and I walked upon 2 guys, spawned a BUNCH of vehicles, one of those giant ammo crates that you see if you've ever been Thunderdomed. So basically at the very NE tip of the map, where the little bay begins to wrap around is where all the vehicles/gear is: Killed the 2 of them, guess no godmode? And took what I wanted from their big gear box.

So I raided a vehicle base on a server today and in one of their vehicles there was an M40A3 that I took and the mags for it. Now I know that it's a hacked weapon but are there any repercussions for keeping it or using it? I've read around saying that someone was global banned for using a hacked weapon but I'm positive you only get global banned if you are actually hacking and detected by BE.

Bump this up for ya, hopefully you find someone! Found a group of about 5 players today, we found a heli, raided bases on a server and just formed our own base with a shit ton of weapons, backpacks, ghillies, and all that stuff. Hopefully you get as lucky as we did!

I use a AS50 as a sniper, sometimes I switch back to the DMR and go for headshots. Have all tools, NVGs, Rangefinders, Coyote Pack, M9 SD and all that good stuff. When I go into the city or killing zombies for friends to loot, I rock the M4A1 silenced with a holographic sight and a grenade launcher (the first one I've ever seen when I raided a base). Keep my inventory about half full of M107 ammo, and about 5 clips of STANAG silenced and then keep my inventory with medical supplies, bandages, and food/water.

I've been server hopping constantly, I'm a bandit by nature. I kill on sight, weapon or not. I pillage, scavenge, and terrorize all the sad virgins who think this game would be fun. In the end though, it has become tedious killing new players and awful people in ghillies who think this is ghost recon and can't seem to snipe for their lives. Enough with my bandit story and on to the point. I'm looking for a challenge. If you and your "crew" think you're tough shit, drop me a server or tell me what server you would prefer. Blah blah blah, you can say you don't hack but in all seriousness you don't hack unless you get raided. Shortly after raiding your hacked camp site with about 20 tents, each consisting of 5+ of each weapon, 40+ ghillie suits, 20+ NV goggles, you don't hack? What about that video you have of you guys raiding Donny's vehicle base? And then a next post in your group of you guys "sharing" a base. Well we raided that too to only be teleported to by Donny D. I honestly can't believe I even spotted you guys in the tree lines west of Lopatino but I saw you group of I believe 5 of you in a tractor and a UAZ traveling along the trees. Quickly hopped on my ATV and followed you, a good 200m behind while trying to spot your tail lights. You guys finally stopped after about 10 minutes of following you and I stopped about 300m behind and parked my ATV behind a tree. Hopped behind the tree and looked down to see 2 of you out of the car, looks like to stop for a refuel. Needless to say, didn't want to take my chances with running up and facing 5 of you, quickly sniped the 2 on the outside, got another one running for the tree lines and as I was running to check the bodies, the person in the tractor took off, saw that the UAZ had a passenger that quickly switched to driver's seat as I came out and took off, quickly shot him from behind and ended his life. Saw the tractor parked down the hill and the last person combat dodged. Regardless, didn't really want to kill you guys but since I could I felt like I had to save some other lives. You guys had some nice gear too, all decked in coyote packs, NV, rangefinders, and ghillie suits. Just want to say all the gear went to waste, my crew was not on to log and loot your gear so instead I just grabbed all the NV and rangefinders, hide all your bodies, took your beans, satchel charged your 2 cars and called it a day. Thanks for all the stuff and I hope you learn to not drive so close to the tree lines.

I had 150 at one point, no screenshot as I didn't realize you had to drop it into windowed mode or at least I haven't found out what button to press to screenshot yet however a hacker killed everyone in the server while I was on it.

I honestly thought it was a hairy dog for a second....
