    Rocket's overall plan.

I don#t understand you guys, if you have problems connecting to 1.7.2 or the zombies are too strong ( I still find them just as weak, but I am not running around with a hatchet either ), then play 1.7.1.5 and write down your opinion in the designated post for it. Nobody is stopping you, you are even encouraged, Personally I think the Zombie aggro range is too small. Especially at night I would further bump it, but as long as a simple abort fixes all zombie problems it hinders the immersion. You know OP, it is easy to cry doomsday like a baby too instead of just lobbying constructively. You are quite blunt an idiot if you think your way of talking about things will achieve anything.

    L85A2 disabled? Reaaaly? DICE?

The only thing incredible is your inability to read. Nobody said anything about nerfing trees. People can hide very well in there and it is a fact. I can show you at least 4 locations at NW airfield where the complete AS-50 will be hidden, the whole character while maintaining view on 6 of 8 hangars, comm tower, firestation and of course the barracks. You won't see them sitting in there even if you stare a friggin minute through the bino on those trees, but once you take a step outside your little hiding place you will find a hole in your head. And in those situations the L85 was the only thing that gave you a chance. Even if the sniper has one too, you still have a shot yourself. Again snipers in those trees do not need to thermal you at any point. Of course they can but it does not make a huge difference. If you are close to the barracks, you will probably check them out and the only thing he has to do is not being seen. Easily doable, your loss. Someone who says, that the l85 is an awesome detection tool obviously didn't even use it. The scope is pretty strong ( you can even further zoom in with it ), it has problems with windows. Distances blur and there is a ton of other problems, yet still it was useful for counter sniping. And again for the guy that I quoted with an inability to read: Nobody wants to nerf trees. The thing is the only tool to get inside one of the top christmas trees has been removed. Not sure why I do have to put up with people, that obviously have no hotspot knowledge. I am on the NW airfield, Stary every single day for roughly half of my playtime with my sniper buddy in the search for a couple of fights against multiple opponents and we have yet to be defeated. I die once every 2-3 days playing 10h + per day being the one that goes looting. So yes.... give me your scrubknowledge. When I tell you we cannot be defeated by people without L85 to begin with, attacking the NW airfield or stary in any fair way (meaning no serverhopping through all sniper locations, or 8+ people), then I mean it. I lost my L85, I can suck it up. I will just switch to my AS-50 and join the ranks of sniping instead of enjoying the spotter role. Now snipers can breathe a bit more, they will be more common, OHK will be even more common and then you guys come back and cry about snipers anyway. See you in 2-3 weeks, will come with lots of empty waterbottles to catch all your tears ;)

It isn't the ghuille suit. As above poster said the christmas trees... some of them will completely cover you ( and even 3/4 of the as-50 ) without you seeing a single pixel of them, while they can see perfectly to the outside. We aren't talking about easy stuff like a sniper on a roof or in the grass. That isn't hard to spot at all.

If someone moves you spot him even in the thickest of forests in a couple of seconds. If someone doesn't move you need to check every tree very carefully and chances are, that you are dead if there was a sniper before you have spotted him, because you entered his area aka moved. Do you really want to bet on a sniper being beaten by his oversight to spot a moving target entering his visual range? Sniper got you? Bad luck try again. Is that how you want it? I bet with you even if a sniper would need 2 hits to get you, you wouldn't spot him even knowing his general direction before you are dead. Just do a try with your friend. He is the sniper and gets into a bush and even gives you the precise sector he is in. e.g. 055 011 and you have to find him before he has you in visual for 10 seconds. Everytime he can count to 10 without you spotting him he can kill you. This will be a day full of running for you. Before I had the L85 I had problems finding my sniper even with his directions via voiceover giving me directions how to find him. Binocular and NVG aren't powerful/efficient enough to expose a sniper in time.

    L85 needs to be changed

I love the weapon, because it was the only one that could keep me somewhat safe from snipers sitting in a bush somewhere in a general direction headshotting you 700m away. You won't see 'em with NVG or daylight they will just pop you. The only counter is Thermal Sight and that's it. Me and my friend have found 1 l85, 4x as-50 searching choppers for two days and we know the pattern. The only thing you fint most of the time is the bullshit fn fal or the bizon. L85 is rare stop frequenting dupers heaven.

This is garbage enough to get me to register to this forum. If scouting and then switching weapons was a problem, make it the only wearable weapon. It was the only effective counter to sniping. I scouted, my sniper layed in the kill. It was wonderful, where I couldn't see, he could and vice versa. Going to the airfield is a real suicide commando now, opposed to yesterday where we could feel somewhat safe as long as I kept checking the outskirts with thermal. Obviously I agree that one person shouldn't be able to use the L85 in conjunction with a sniper rifle by himself. As it stands now if an area is guarded by snipers your team is dead before even knowing where the enemy team is. Way to make it more fun. Properly ghuillie-suited you simply don't see a not moving target at night. Sometimes you will by chance notice the barrel, most of the times the only thing you will notice is a bullet in your chest. Just removing it is a gamebreaker.
